CastletonSnob 3,074 January 14, 2020 Share January 14, 2020 Simple question. Did you cry during the finale of the show?
Cash In 22,352 January 14, 2020 Share January 14, 2020 (edited) I may have shed a tear, which was unexpected. I don't get too emotional when watching shows, so it took me by surprise. Edited June 8, 2022 by Cash_In 3 At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Misty Shadow 7,901 January 14, 2020 Share January 14, 2020 I DON'T CRY I'M A MAN Being serious, I don't get moved to tears by the entertainment I consume, but there is a level of sentiment I can be brought to, even by fictional cartoons. The finale did a good job making me feel sad that the show was over, but also happy that it will never truly be over. https://www.deviantart.com/frank3dz/art/A-day-to-remember-1140892930 (seriously guys, read this comic, it's hilarious)
Splashee 28,564 January 14, 2020 Share January 14, 2020 I did not cry. I was a little bit upset at the final song, that I kinda didn't think too much about the actual good bye of the show's characters.

applesjck 5,601 January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 I cried during the last song, but not anywhere else in the episode. I sure was emotional, though! Lover of all things Applejack. <
Cagey 4,248 January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 I didn’t cry, although I have cried while watching the show before. Maybe all the spoilers made it have less of an impact.

cuteycindyhoney 13,307 January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 It was very moving, I thought. My answer is yes. We got to see examples of the mane six's happily ever afters. I still think Pinkie's was the best! 1 Thank you Sparklefan1234!!!

Sonic5421 425 January 16, 2020 Share January 16, 2020 I'll be honest about this. I did cry during the finale, especially the final song by the Mane Six. I just couldn't hold back how the series was finally over, and it ended on such a heartwarming and heartbreaking moment with the book the series opened with now closing to end the series on that final shot of the older Mane Six. Wasp Child 38 January 17, 2020 Share January 17, 2020 It got me good. It got me right in the feels. Very choked up. Seeing the book close was just...WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO MEEE
Dark Qiviut 22,428 January 19, 2020 Share January 19, 2020 Eeyup. In two places. When Pinkie bawled out, “I’m gonna miss you so much!” Watching her cry this realistically was absolutely gutting. The final song, mainly the final chorus. Perfect time to publish the show’s best and one of the most emotional. 2 "Talent is a pursued interest." — Bob Ross Pro-Brony articles: 1/2/3/
Tacodidra 61,194 January 19, 2020 Share January 19, 2020 Considering how many times I've cried at MLP (I don't cry often otherwise, there's just something about this show... ), I watched the finale expecting to cry a lot. To my surprise, the first half of the episode actually didn't have that effect on me. But the scene where the rest of the older Mane 6 arrive changed all that – seeing the characters I grew to know and love over nine seasons in the future was extremely emotional, and the same goes for the song when they show many of the other characters. Even thinking about that now is strangely moving... 5 Signature by @Sparklefan1234
lilywolf 0 January 19, 2020 Share January 19, 2020 I didn't-- I'm usually able to stop myself from doing so when it comes to media I watch, but I definitely felt the feels. :')
IronM17 5,387 January 19, 2020 Share January 19, 2020 No, I did not. Besides the fact that I find the finaly not really good (especially the two parter), MLP was not that important for me anymore. I had not the same feelings for the show as I had when I started with the show. The ending was emotional, yes, but not so that I had to cry (what happens really rarely on TV shows to be honest). MLP had episodes who were more emotional for me.
