As for my ethnicity I'm white/Caucasian. My roots go back to the countries of Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, and America (I even have a little bit of Cherokee blood).

Ethnictiy (I'm adopted) and have been told I'm French and Cuban. I would guess mostly French which is pretty cool.

I used to identify myself as most white British, but with a chunk of Finnish, but lately I've decided I don't share enough characteristics with either groups (what does it mean to be British anyway?). In some ways I feel fandoms like this one have largely replaced the identity I would have had had the social conditions been desirable enough for me to have retained it. However, I'm not sure I can say MLP: FIM fans are an ethnic group yet but because we have factions, our standards are incomplete/inconsistent and are geographically divided. What do you think?

 

BTW, if you suggest I label myself as White (other), that is just ludicrous because it means nothing. Not like whites are united as an ethnic group or anything.

Two of my grandparents are French Canadians, from Montreal and everything. Yet I lived my entire life in English speaking America, to English speaking parents, and I know only a little French from when I took a class in High school. So how French-Canadian could I be?

 

I guess I like Canada, and I would like to visit Quebec at some point, and I would be interested in learning more french, maybe.
