I am current reading the light novel Sword Art Online: Aincrad. It actually makes up for the less interesting anime. Hopefully the manga is much more appealing as well.

I haven't started them yet, but I plan on reading the Chronicles of Narnia.

even though "the magician's nephew" comes first chronologically, I'd recommend against reading it first.  I'd definitely start with lion witch wardrobe.  you could read it second though.

I've taken multiple diversions, but I'm back to "Atomic Accidents"

Anyone read nonfiction? I only see fiction titles mentioned here.

Our English class is reading "Macbeth" right now, so that's what I've been reading since I haven't picked up anything else in the last while.

Just finished Upton SInclair's "The Jungle", and now I'm on to Herman Melville's "Moby-Dick". Both are a part of my Summer of Classic Literature which also include John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men," and Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" and "A Moveable Feast."

I'm about to start reading "Ghost Fleet" by P.W. Singer.

"Ghost Fleet is a page-turning imagining of a war set in the not-too-distant future. Navy captains battle through a modern-day Pearl Harbor; fighter pilots duel with stealthy drones; teenage hackers fight in digital playgrounds; Silicon Valley billionaires mobilize for cyber-war; and a serial killer carries out her own vendetta. Ultimately, victory will depend on who can best blend the lessons of the past with the weapons of the future. But what makes the story even more notable is that every trend and technology in book—no matter how sci-fi it may seem—is real.

The debut novel by two leading experts on the cutting edge of national security, Ghost Fleet has drawn praise as a new kind of technothriller while also becoming the new “must-read” for military leaders around the world."

“A wild book, a real page-turner.” —The Economist

Ghost Fleet is a thrilling trip through a terrifyingly plausible tomorrow. This is not just an excellent book, but an excellent book by those who know what they are talking about. Prepare to lose some sleep.”—D. B. Weiss, writer of HBO’s Game of Thrones

“It’s exciting, but it’s terrifying at the same time.”—General Robert Neller, commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps

Reading another of Harlan Ellison's collection of short stories, this one titled "Shatterday." Haven't found anything that I don't like by him yet.

currently reading theres a boy in the girls bathroom. classical childhood story with many laughs and tears

And also 2016's hottest socio-political treatise.

Myself, I have just finished 'The Lost World' by Michael Crichton, very different to the film.  Going to start 'The Sabbat Crusade' next, which is an anthology of short stories based in the Warhammer 40K universe.

Started The Magician at the weekend. Enjoying it so far, bit more going on plot wise in comparison to the last fantasy series I read, which was The Kingkiller Chronicles. I do enjoy those books btw, but a different kind of thing entirely to the likes of Song of Ice & Fire or this book, which seems like a bit half way between those other two series on the scale.

I'm almost finished reading "Fate of Worlds" by Larry Niven and Edward M. Lerner. It's the final in the Ringworld saga. It's also the final in their "Fleet of Worlds" saga, but I wanted to read this before starting Fleet of Worlds. I did read that it's an okay place to start Fleet of Worlds.

No spoilers, but I do love Nessus, and love reading more about him. Check out this wonderful picture I found of Louis Wu and Nessus, exploring the Ringworld.

I'm currently on something of a classic sci fi novel binge, so that amounts for most of what I've read lately.

At the moment I'm reading A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr.

I'm reading a book for my english literature list (I'm dutch) and it's a kinda difficult book but that's not a problem anymore since my english reading skills really got better since I joined these forums. it's called 'the boys from brazil' and about a groop of ex nazi people who are going to kill 94 mens of 65 years old on or around certain dates for some reason I don't fully understand yet. it's great :D
