I finnaly read it. And i did not like it. I'm not really that squeamish or anything, it's just the thought was like oh gosh this is gross. Besides I love Pinkie and don't want to think of her in another way like that.

Couldn't have said it better. My Little Pony is the last thing I would want to see as horrific or brutal or anything like that. I admit I have stumbled across a few of "these kinds of videos" by accident. APPLES.MOV is one I accidentally saw. I try my best to stay away from anything like that. I can't picture the sweet, loving, sunshine flower pedal ponies as murderous, vulgar, inappropriate, whack jobs. It's just not for me.

It's infamous because it's by far one of the goriest fics out there on the 'Net (whether it's by MLP fic or any other fandom fic standards), and I mean X-rated/"no-one-should-read-till-you're-twenty-one-years-old" gore. It's twisted, demented, deranged, and describes Rainbow Dash's murder and dismemberment in detail that comes out of horror movie on steroids. Because of its gross nature, it's made people squirm to the point where they got physically sick. I read Cupcakes almost a year ago, and when I finished, I was like, "THIS is what everypony was worked up over? Sure, the nails and wing removal were a bit unsettling, but everypony had a freak attack over THIS? Pft."

 

Not long after that, I read posts talking about something called "Sweet Apple Massacre". Apparently it was voted the best fanfic for Scootaloo abuse. Read it. Not really a sensible backstory. Unfortunately, my mom bought us chocolate milkshakes that night.... I nearly threw up.

 

And a few months later, I heard about Cheerilee's Garden. Read it. Had a sort of decent backstory. LOTS of violence and gore.

 

Long after that, I heard about Rainbow Factory. GREAT story. Not so much focusing on the violence. But still, a really good read.

 

And, fairly recently, I was incredibly bored and wanted to read Cheerilee's Garden. When I looked it up, I noticed there was a second chapter called "Scarlet Harvest". Decent backstory, but I absoloutely HATED the ending.

I know right. The emotion Pinkie puts behind morbidly killing her best friend is wonderful. And when she comes out with that quilt made of Cutie Marks, was amazing. This is truly a master piece.

I'm wondering whether to watch the fanfic "Cupcakes", in which Pinkie Pie makes cupcakes out of Rainbow Dash. If anyone has seen it, could you give me comments about it and suggestions to watch it or not. And I would also like to know on a scale of 1-10, how scary it is and how gory it is. If you want to give me suggestions to watch after or before I watch "Cupcakes", I would appreciate that. Thanks!

Needless to say it was a bit cringeworthy(you can thank the screaming sound effects he added), but harmless compared to the various horror movies I have watched.

Not the scariest thing I've ever read, and not the worst.

 

You've got to remember though, the audience are a bunch of pony loving peeps.

 

Anything that really sets itself apart by being so contrary to the standard LOLPONIES thing is going to be received more intensely.

 

Urg...Cupcakes Most of what you heard is true. It's very brutal, gorey, and sick. I love horror movies, and gore doesn't bother me.... until ponies are mixed with it. If you are the same way, you probably shouldn't read it. After I read it, I couldn't look at Pinkie Pie for a few days...

 

Rainbow Dash's blood and organs should stay INSIDE her body where they belong!
