Like, I get what they're trying to do, but giving into trolls doesnt make you win, it only makes them win. Why do people care so much about this show and its fandom?

 

It doesn't affect them in any way that there are people that watch a show called My Little Pony. The fact that they are calling people that they don't even know faggots and homosexuals is absolutely outrageous. Why does it offend them so much that older male and female audiences watch the show? Just because people watch it doesn't mean they have to as well!

See, this is what really bugs me, if they don't like the show being on Netflix, why are they on it, let alone the show's page in the first place? This just goes to show how much some people just simply want to annoy others because of their hobbies or interests. I was like may of you here, being put off by the show's 'girly' style, yet while I couldn't say I hated the show, I consciously avoided it... Then one day, I just got curious and wanted to see what all the hub bub was about, and before I knew it, I was a fan!

 

That being said, I told several friends online that I have come to like the show, and was surprised to find out they were fans, too! But one friend of mine totally cut me off, stating that the show ruined her love for Unicorns. She has since then avoided all contact with me. 

 

But it's her loss! She likes shows that I don't like, I like a show she doesn't like! Not the worst example here by far, as I've been extremely lucky, but hopefully, another (if weak) example of how people hate on this show with nothing but a kneejerk reaction!

To be honest, I could care less who hates the show. The VAST majority of the people who go around saying things like that have never even seen one episode and have no room for judgment. There's a saying: "The only people who don't like the show have never seen it."

 

And while that's not 100% true, I'm willing to bet that the punks who post those types of comments haven't seen it.
