Whenever i play Minecraft minigames i usually commentate everything that happens. Then people are all like "Who are you talking to?" when i scream "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT GUY KILLED ME"

Yeah, I barely play any modern games. All of the games that we thought were "new" were actually hand-me-downs from people who were tired of them. So instead of getting "modern" games like Halo, CoD, Fallout, etc., we got Armor Command (1998), Star Control 2 (1992), LEGO Racers (1999), etc. I'm not complaining, since I generally have more fun with old games than I do with newer ones, but a lot of people I meet think all my games are boring.

 

I want to start a Let's Play channel with this one guy (well, two actually), but I'm kind of afraid that he won't want to play any of the games that I have. Almost all of them are at least 15 years old...

• There are the occasional moments when I hate myself for doing something stupid. Sometimes I'm too hard on myself. But I've been improving on that lately.
• I'm not a misanthrope but I hate a lot of things about humanity (our inclination to wage war, the degenerate millennial culture, all the environmental pollution we've caused, etc.).
• I don't like watching sports on T.V. I rather be in the game myself. I would love to play soccer or basketball if given the chance but it'd be boring to watch others play it on television.

By now, I've totally lost the will to confide in communities -- it's why I very much stopped posting in the Life Advice section. Even now, even here there is a lot of hesitation to make confessions. I've simply grown weary of opening up vulnerably only to have disappointment be the best that I can hope for. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. I wish it didn't have to be this way. That said, it's time I got moving and stop distracting myself from what needs getting done. Must confront the challenges of the present.
