What's your least favorite word?

"automagically" -- 1) it's not a real word, and 2) there is nothing "magical" about designing and creating something that happens because of something else (automatically).  

 

That being said, that's just my personal take on the word and if others want to use it I don't judge them for it.

There are a few words I don't like but the one I hate the most is the D word... I never have really liked how much it is used now a days.... It never sounds good when I hear it... ALWAYS hate when people take the Lord name in vain.... <- Not starting a religious fight just never have liked those two things.

Well, just about every curse word ever, but there are two in particular that I really despise. First, the F word. I don't like it at all. Sounds too rude and just plain wrong in my opinion. Second, the word "Gay". I hate this word because ignorant kids use it without even knowing what the word means. Completely ignorant, but that's teenagers for ya.

Uhm, I'm not a fan of any form of derogatory slur, namely "retarded" since I work with children that have disabilities and I get pretty upset when people say it.

I'm also not a fan of the words "carnivore", "omnivore", or "Styrofoam". I've read enough of Chuck Palahniuk's work to get over any type of cursing or the like, though I'm not a fan of it in excess. 

I also hate the word "squeeze". I don't know why, it just brings up unpleasant thoughts. And "rape", for obvious reasons, it's such an ugly, ugly word.

My least favorite word is....well, it's a bad word. The more...demeaning term for gay. I find it to be more insulting than most insults, and I absolutely hate it!

I don´t like insults in general...

Sure there are some words I dislike in special (racistic insults, sexual discriminating, brony discriminating, all that stuff...). But I can´t stand it in the first place if people get loud. I had enough experience with it to know that it nearly never helps to deescalate a situation (but the opposite...).

Seriously though, both books were excellent. Terry Pratchett is a wonderful author. You should try his other thirty eight Discworld novels. They're Moist free! How do you feel about the name Mustrum Ridcully though?

I live in the United States, but I've always thought knickers sounded cool. I never used the word though. People would look at me funny!

1. Nothing - Because it seems a lot of people use this in a horrid fashion. 'I haven't done nothing!' Gah, shut the FAQ up.

2. College or University - This is the weird one. Society constantly plays this shit up and really knows how to make anyone who doesn't go and has no intention to (like me) feel like a piece of garbage. Plus it seems some people love to bring it up in the most out of place conversations. That is just a personal offense though.

3. Ain't - Not that big of a deal, I just never use it. It doesn't sound very natural for me.

4. Spinach - Because I hate spinach.

5. These words when used is this order; Life is what you make it.

6. Any word that is shortened when there is absolutely no reason for it be. Examples: You - u, What - wat, Why - y, things like that. It bugs me to no end. I know the is not in speech form, but we will get there.

Ignoring the other words your using, I think that you can maybe even rank "Cool" up with awesome and radicle for losing there meaning. Cool is so overused and in so many ways you can't really tell what it means unless you know the person :x .

gamer- should never be used ever, it describes A HUMAN BEING by his hobby and it is misused so much that it have become almost stupid, i play a load of games but i would be offended to be described a gamer. gamers is almost reffered to 10 year olds that plays first person shooters only ever and use the words swag and yolo and other words i dislike in their language. it is ok to use some words that i dislike but to use them too much makes it seem stupid (back to being crazy)   muffin time
