Season 4 Opening

I'm thinking that it will start off the same with Twilight in her hot air balloon but then once it says, My Little Pony for the third time, she start flying out of the balloon. Later it will show scenes from old episodes for each of the mane six and it will finally end with... I don't know.

 

How would you like the intro to look like? Do you think the song will be different?

I think the Equestria Girls intro should be applied, it was the only song i loved in that horrible movie.

This could be the excellent choice for the new S4 intro.

Me too i really liked the Equestria girls theme song and i think it should be applied to the S4 intro, or atleast something similar to it. And WHAT! you atleast had to like Helping twilight win the crown!

I am listening to the Helping Twillight win the crown and i still don't like it.

The song is pretty much decent to me, the only song i loved in EG is the opening song.

I think that the Season Four intro will look like the intro from Equestria Girls. So, I guess that could be a good change to the intro.

Seeing either a remix of the song or a completely new version of it would be great overall.

 

As for the animation intro, beside princess twilight, I'm curious to see what can they do different.

I hope its a new intro. Though I seriously doubt they will change the original theme.

 

They remixed it already for the season 2 & 3 episodes so they won't do it again. I do hope for a change in scenes for the intro though.

I don't think they should change the original theme, but they should change the intro itself. 

 

I do enjoy the EQG theme song remix, but I wouldn't want it for Season 4. I like the idea of Twilight flying out of the hot air balloon like, "Pffft I don't need this, I've got wings!" xD And maybe she meets up with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash to fly and meet up with Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack somewhere.

Whilst it would be cool to see a flashy new intro: I don't expect it to be that different. I'd imagine they'd probably just alter it and add wings to Twilight then be done with it to be honest. But we have to wait and see, never know they might have a brand new intro

I vote for SaberSpark's intro for his Brony Chronicles documentary, every time I watch that intro I'm reminded of why I enjoy this fandom and the creative folks in it.

I would love if they made a new song with a similar happy feeling or at least a remix.

Also since the show has so many fans now...why not make one of those intros with small changes each time.

Wow, strangely I haven't thought of this. Here I am, getting even more excited for Season 4!

Honestly, I have no idea what Hasbro holds for the new opening, at least I hope it has a new one. With Alicorn Twilight and all, it's bound to. I hope they put in that awesome remix of the theme song from Equestria Girls! Man, that'd be AWESOME! Maybe they'll show Shining Armor and Cadence in it as well? Maybe Luna too. Like I said, I dunno! But I'm excited to see it!

So I found this short clip on the promo video that the Hub showed us earlier. By the looks of Twilight's teleport entrance and how everypony is going close to her, it matches Twilight's teleportation and her friends going close to her during the openings for Seasons 1-3. As it turns out, they're giving the opening alot more characters. There's  Zecora, the Cakes, Snails, Snips, Mayor Mare, Big Mac, and Granny Smith!

 

Now I'm pretty sure the opening is going to look somewhat similar to the regular opening, and since these characters are in the opening, no doubt they'll have more appearances in Season 4. Mayor and the Cakes didn't have any parts in that season, and I'm feeling pretty relieved that they will this season. With these characters appearing in the opening, I'm assuming Luna and Cadance are going to appear along side Celestia when she reads the letter that Spike sends to her. Opening would've been better if Cheerilee was there too.

 

So, what else do you think is going to happen for the Season 4 opening? What would you like to see in the opening?

Not to be mean, but what did Snips and Snails do thus far to be counted amongst Twilight's circle of friends? I can name plenty far more deserving characters than those 2.

Ba da ba ba ba, I'm lovin' it. Seeing Twilight spread her wings is beautiful and majestic. I'm not so keen on her being surrounded by extra friends beyond the Mane Six, but that's generally out of familiarity. Thumbs up for the inclusion of the Cutie Mark Crusaders,  Zecora and the Apple family.

I mean if their gonna be there i really hope they work with them.  They develop.

Honestly, I think they're just underdeveloped.  But there is still potential for them to become more credible recurring characters.  I think they just need the right circumstance to shine.

I'm also wondering why Snips and Snails are in the intro when all they've done is assisting a pony whose plan was to destroy Ponyville.

Yeah I'm speculating that's gonna be part of the intro. They need to update it since Twilight's got wings now. Though I'd wish they'd change the song to something less cringe worthy but hey, can't get everything you want. Anyway I imagine that shot will be in the part where they go "And magic makes it all complete."
