What Pony race would you choose

An Alicorn...I think the magical abilities the horn gives as well as the ability to fly is the perfect combo!

Pegasus all the way.. i can control the weather!! unlimited thunders and flash and static elettricity! uh Nikola Tesla would be proud.. oh and not to mention ability to fly everyone have this for primary but i just like the idea of controlling weather and flashes expecially.. also pegasus are the best engineers! Look at those cloud making machines! who need some magic horn whene you have the power of electricity, science and friendship?

Ponies can just use their hooves to grab things; that's been proven numerous times in the series. Still, magic (or 4th-wall powers like Pinkie's; either one would work for me) would be undeniably practical to have on a day-to-day basis, and that's why I've also chosen unicorn.

Goodnes... my OC is an Earth pony.  I would probably choose to be a unicorn, because magic.  But then again, pegasus would be great since I would love to fly.  But as we've seen before, there are unicorn spells that can create temporary wings, so I guess I'd have to go with unicorn.

They make up for their lack of flight and magic with their technological and scientific adeptness, as for some ponies, strength (not all of them have this trait, as shown in the show).

 

Just look. Pinkie Pie can build a helicopter, some members of the Apple family has a rigid airship, and Cherry Berry flies a balloon.

 

Another good trait they replace with magic and flight is being practical. They just get it done, and despite their advance machinery, they just get things done, no excuses. They make up the majority of the agricultural and industrial work force; just imagine what would happen if they all disappeared.

 

I wonder what it would feel like to be an Earth pony.

I can never decide!! Both magic and flight appeal to me. It's a really tough choice for me ... 

 

Although ... I have two ponysonas (based on my nonpony 'sonas), one of whom is a pegasus, and the other an Earth pony. So maybe by default I should just go with unicorn for my actual self.
