My favorites are Pinkie and Rarity! 

Pinkie might be my absolute favorite because of her wonderful personality. She's able to make me smile almost every time she makes an appearance in the show and I'm also fond of happy personalities in general. 

Rarity is probably my favorite because she's so lovable and elegant. I also really like the way she speaks.

Twilight is my favorite because I'm a lot like her in a zillion ways.

 

Rarity, Spitfire, and Princess Luna I love because they're cuter, hotter, and sexier than any human chick I'll ever meet. (And I don't say that from the creepy depths of tumblr)

 

Derpy I like because of her fandub voices and her clumsiness (reminds me of Clumsy Smurf from the 2011 Smurfs, great movie)

 

DJ-PON3...well, she got me into EDM and melodic dubstep for usage in my videos.

 

The CMC are just so cute and humorous. Lyra has a good green design is all. 

 

Flurry Heart was the first character to make me cry and squee. 

 

Starlight Glimmer was the most realism-fitting villain (meaning, she was a villain that resembled bad people in real life situations the most). AND her reformation was one I did not see coming but loved it to the core anyways.

Rainbow is my all time fave, just cause I can relate to her, idk why. neither one of us are the girly type, tomboyish if you will.

Haven't been consistently happy with her in the show lately, but Twilight Sparkle remains my favourite character just because I identify with her a lot. 

 

Beyond the main six, I like Sunset Shimmer just because she's so sympathetic and likeable in the Equestria Girls movies, although she's not really listed. Of the secondary characters, my favourite is definitely Cadance. Aside from superficially being one of the most aesthetically appealing ponies, I've come to really enjoy her personality ever since I read that one comic issue about when her and Shining Armour met. Not sure why I haven't continued the comics. 

 

Tertiary characters don't catch my interest too often, but Bon Bon is probably my favourite background pony just because she's actually a (retired?) secret agent. Dunno where she falls but last season I also really liked Sassy Saddles.

Rarity because she is always the least liked so I feel sorry for her. Also she is beautiful and smart as she recognised twilights pony race after she became an alicorn.

Rarity is the least liked?  What?  She is right in the middle for me.  3rd or 4th favorite of the Mane Six.

I love Fluttershy, as I was once upon a time very much like her, but now as I am older. I see a lot of the same qualities between myself and Rarity. I am not quite as fussy, but I do enjoy getting dressed up, looking smart, suave and sophisticated. Provided I have the tools to make an impression. Fluttershy! One thing is that she is absolutely adorable, but that is not the main reason. I siply love how while she is all quiet and shy, she is able to stand up for herself, her friends or even a complete stranger (like the manticore for example) if she really really needs to. Also, she has a sweet voice and a pretty design. ^w^

Rainbow Dash! She's strong, stubborn, masculine while still being able to rock her femininity, and at least 20% cooler than the other ponies. Don't get me wrong, I love them all, but Dashie is easier for me to connect with.

I really like Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, but I can't decide between the two! So I'll just say why I like them both. Fluttershy is so sweet, caring and cute that It's hard not to root for her when she's in trouble. I find her really relate-able in certain areas of her personality too, which is a big bonus. I'm not particularly shy around most people, but It's mostly girls that I like that make me go quiet... Rainbow Dash on the other hand is cool, awesome, and radical! She has an amazing ambition, always aims high for the skies, literally, and is one of the most faithful characters I've seen in a cartoon yet, even if she does have her bad moments, and her boasty side is a little annoying.

Princess Luna, there're so many reasons why I like her the best.

 

The simplest is - she has many things in common with me,  the dark side, behaving strong in front of the crowd and has a soft heart and i think most of time...stay along.

 

In her first episode, Luna Eclipsed, her domineering acts just like what I did when I was an angry teenager. About the the dark side, oh god, it was turly a dark time in my life...

 

And of course, she is always cares about her subjects, I cried inside after watching the S5E13: 'Do Princess Dream of Magic Sheep? ', seeing my waifu  suffering from the guilty of the past and she just couldn't let it go...I don't know how to describe that feeling, it's so complicated. But I like her even more after knowing she DOES really care about others, accept the faults her made(sometimes, I can't accept the faults I made and feeling uncomfortable) and become a better pony! All Hail Princess Luna

I originally liked only Rainbow Dash as my favorite pony, due to her confident, cute, and cool personality, but she can also be insecure. I also really like her design.

 

She is still definitely my favorite character, but now is with Fluttershy as my two favorites (at least in mane six). I found Flutter to be very sweet and cute, with another great design. I find her to be helpful too.

 

No, I do not have only one favorite. I love them all the same, including my other favorites, Shining Armor, Princess Ember (She is a dragon but still), and Princess Celestia.

 

Again, I do not have a favorite out of Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Princess Ember, Shining Armor, and Princess Sunbutt. They are all equally lovely to me. I find them all to have great qualities as well. I guess I cannot vote then

My favorites is Twilight Sparkle and Vinyl Scratch. I'm also a fan of Spitfire as well.

 

The reason is why is that Twilight fits my personality and she's also someone I would have no problems with.

Vinyl because she's pretty cool, she's awesome looking, and I'm sure she'd be pretty awesome to play video games with.

Spitfire because I feel like that outside of training, she cares deeply for her core? Like, it's not a matter of drill sergeant and nooby, rather it's mother and her family. I don't know. It's one of those weird head canons I have.

Pinkie Pie.

 

Pinkie is just the more relatable character in all the cast for me.

All the lessons she learnt, I needed to learn them too. And more we spend time knowing and learning about her, more she seems even more relatable to me (Party Pooper for example). Obvioulsy she is also the pony who made me laugh each time and she never ceased to amuse me, even in Filli Vanilli (yes, I liked the Pinkie in Filli Vanilli). In short, Pinkie Pie is my spirit animal and I love her (in a complete platonic way).

 

If I was given the choice to hang out with somepony, it would be her.

I should choose between Rarity and Applejack again. I would rather choose Rarity. Because it has formed historically, so to say. She is hardworking, persistent, smart, responsible… She's mature psychologically. Her relationship with Sweetie Belle demonstrate this and raise this pony above others in my eyes. Yes, she is certainly my favorite pony. And Applejack is the same as Rarity, but she is more… simple, down-to-earth, without dramatizations and desire for splendour, just because she don't need it. She reminds me of myself sometimes, and this also makes her nice for me.
