It at least takes me about an hour to fall asleep and I change position all the time. Whichever position I fall asleep in is the one I end up in. It varies. Usually on one of my sides.

I sleep in the position that dead people have when they are on funerals. I often put my hands like that on my chest. I also have some "soldier" positions but i mostly sleep straight on my back like a carpet.

It depends on how tired I am, but for the most part I'm a pretty light sleeper, I toss and turn a lot, and I can't fall asleep unless I'm laying on my stomach at first. But I've also been known to fall asleep on things...or people, if I'm tired and comfortable enough...I've actually fallen asleep on @Cyclone multiple times already.

Generally I end up sleeping on my side, but it depends on how bad my seasonal allergies are that night. If they're bad enough I have to lay on my back. Though I think I change positions when I sleep.

As for how I sleep, well I'm a very heavy sleeper. It used to be so bad I had to wear Pull-Ups for the longest time... :lie: Also, my boyfriend says I twitch a lot in my sleep. Which I guess explains why everytime I wake up, my blanket is always halfway off of me.

As for how long it takes it depends on a variety of factors. On more uncomfortable nights, it can take me a long time to go to sleep. Though next to the man I love and at his house (even with the fact we had to share a twin size bed) I'd go to sleep pretty much the moment I laid my head on his chest and felt his comforting breath down the back if my neck. I even slept on him quite a few times when we were cuddling, because It was so wonderful :D UnfUnfortunately at home and without him I don't sleep as well... Have to end up taking cat naps in the car.

I usually sleep on my side or sometimes on my back and never on my belly (I find this really uncomfortable). And I usually need minimum a hour to fall asleep. Sometimes even longer (mostly on the night from sunday to monday). I only fall assleep directly when I am really tired, but this is really rarely.

It depends and I usually wait for 5 mins before drifting off to sleep.

I sleep on my sides and alternate throughout the night. I usually fall asleep the minute my head hits the pillow, but I can only sleep if I keep a routine sleep schedule. If I try to sleep at different times every day, I'll never drop off, no matter how tired I may be. I'm not good at quick naps; it has to be the whole night if it's going to be of any use to me at all.

I sleep on whatever position is comfortable for me, usually my side but sometimes my front - it varies. Also, it takes me awhile to fall asleep, normally 15-45 minutes.

I sleep on my side. Now that I have healing piercings on my left side I’m stuck laying on my right side. It gets uncomfortable not being able to switch.

I prefer sleeping on my side. It's just a habit I've gotten into. I also tend to move back and forth sleeping on my left and right side. I usually take a while to fall asleep and prefer to have some music playing in the background with a dim light nearby.

I usually start on my back, move to a side, wind up on my back again. If I wake up in the middle of the night I am crunched up like a pretzel or otherwise doing yoga/positions that my body is not flexible enough to otherwise attain. So I usually wake up in pain.

I'm a side sleeper but to be honest i would prefer 100% to sleep on my front because it makes pressure in my chest and belly and calms down my usual stress, and sleeping on my back normally leaves my lungs all swollen and i cough a lot during the day because of that (nor sure if it's the bed or what but i just can't sleep in my back without consequences). but i haven't found a way to do it without hurting my neck because of the position. I'll see if i can buy one of those body pillows to sleep so maybe it'll give a similar effect sideways.

I can only really sleep on my back, and it takes me forever to fall asleep. Depending on the night, it can be anywhere between one and three hours before I fall asleep, sometimes longer. Usually less than two.
