  1. Most of the things I got were pony related. I got: A huge Derpy messenger bag I asked for: http://www.welovefine.com/3954-air-mail-bag.html#.UryBtPvhduI A flocked Derpy figurine that I also asked for: http://www.welovefine.com/7048-snuggle-bubble-flocked-vinyl-figure.html#.UryCSvvhduI An aurora Pinkie Pie plush. I asked for the 4de one, but it doesn't matter. I'm happy they even bought me a MLP plush in the first place. The Hot Topic variant cover of the #6th comic in the main series. A Fluttershy Funko Vinyl figure. Two blindbags, one from the 7th wave, and the other from the 8th wave. Suprisingly, one of them turned out to be Rainbow Dash. This probably doesn't count, but I got a Hot Topic gift card for $25. I'm spending most of that on MLP merch haha.
  2. Power Ponies. Its hard to buy that whole enchanted comic book store thing, and the episode felt a bit rushed to me. I hate Flutterhulk too, but thats probably more of a personal thing. It was enjoyable to watch, and I'm glad Spike sort of got what he deserved for a while now, but I still think that its the weakest episode so far.
  3. I'm just sitting over here fangirling over Weird Al being in MLP. This is just the best thing ever. :D

  4. This episode was pretty enjoyable, but it had some flaws. The pacing felt really rushed to me, and the Flutterhulk thing felt forced. This is probably my least favorite episode so far. I'll have a much more in depth review later, but I'm somewhat disappointed with this episode. /:
  5. I'm a little worried about this episode, but I'm excited to see what it'll mean for Spike. I'm not a huge fan of superhero things so I wasn't looking forward to this one, but since its addressing Spike being the sidekick and everything this should be interesting. Unfortunately I'm not going to get to discuss this episode after its over with you all this time, but at least I'll be able to watch the episode.
  6. My iPod Touch 5g. I suppose it would be useful because I could take pictures, and show the ponies pictures from Earth which might help me get back to Earth somehow. Other than that I suppose it wouldn't be very helpful other than to entertain myself at times (and why would I need to entertain myself anyway? Being transported to a new world would be pretty exciting.)
  7. I'm not really sure. I don't think its impossible, and that it could be very likely. I've never seen sasquatch myself, but I honestly believe all of the reports people have made. They could've mistaken it for something else, or it could've been a prank, but I don't think as many people would have reported it if it were just mistaken or a prank. I have mixed feelings about it, really. I do believe in aliens though.
  8. I've never seen anyone arguing over why one shipping is better than the other, but I have seen people aruging over why they like and don't like a certain shipping. Its all subjective, and the arguements on both sides are usually invalid, so I don't really get the point of arguing over it. I don't see the harm in defending a shipping or telling people why you like or don't like a shipping, but to argue over it is stupid if that makes sense. Its pointless, nobody ever wins, and pretty much all of the shippings will never be canon, anyway.
  9. I wouldn't mind seeing a male character as a supporting character, but not a main character. There shouldn't be any more main characters in the show in my opinion -- we have enough, and the main characters are already set up, and have gotten lots of development. Adding another character to the main cast would just be odd. We have Spike, anyway. A male character as a recurring secondary/supporting character would be interesting though, and I wouldn't be against it. I'm not sure how they'd introduce a male character into the cast, but it would be nice to have another male character.
  10. I'd probably have to say Princess Twilight Sparkle is my favorite so far. There are definitely some flaws such as odd pacing, but I still think its a great episode. It showed Twilight adjusting to her new role as a princess, addressed some of the worries almost everyone had, and showed some history. It even set up a story arc. The humor and animation was great as well. Castle Mane-ia comes pretty close because I loved the way all of the characters were portrayed, and that episode was hilarious, but Princess Twilight Sparkle definitely takes the cake so far.
  11. I wouldn't say shes overdue for a return. She was just planned to be a villain for two episodes so she doesn't need any development. Even with that being said though, it would be cool for her to return, and I could see that happening. She does have some untapped potential, and it would be interesting for her to make a return.
  12. I'm not sure what you mean by 'emotional ties', but I guess I do have emotional ties to Fluttershy since I can relate so well to her. I've always been shy, and finally being able to relate to a character means a lot to me. Seeing Fluttershy having to live with her fear everyday, and being able to put it aside when she needs to, is really inspiring. Shes a source of strength for me, and has inspired me to try and overcome my shyness. I haven't made much progress, but making some progress is better than none. I also respect Fluttershy for her kindness, which is an important trait to have in my opinion. I can't really explain it better than that.
  13. We don't celebrate Christmas, but we still get each other gifts on a random day, anyway. We're going to open our gifts this Saturday instead of next Wednesday. Anyway, I'm not 100% sure on what I'm getting, but most likely: Some money to save for a nice weather station. (I might spend some of it on pony merch though ) A few books I want. A journal. A hat and a pair of shoes. A compass. Pony merch including dog tags, a comic, a 4de Pinkie Pie plushie, a Funko Fluttershy figurine, and a Derpy messenger bag and figurine. A few random gifts that I don't know about. and thats it.
  14. The only tv shows (mostly cartoons ) I like are ones that don't come on anymore other than MLP:FIM and Dan Vs. A lot of them I wouldn't say are forgotten, but there are a few such as: The Secret Show Chalkzone (it has the best theme song ever )http://youtu.be/uxNNDGw0ZZE The Wild Thornberrys and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (live action version) Love those shows.
  15. Last year my resolutions were to become a better person, and to do something adventurous. I did both of those so I'm pretty happy about that. This year I have two which are: Stop procrastinating on everything so much. Learn about stuff I don't know much about. I also want to keep improving myself as a person.
  16. Most people just lose interest or are busy. I go into periods where I'll come on here everyday for hours, and then stop and not come on for a few days for no good reason haha. They might be shy, and don't feel very welcomed here for whatever reason, so thats a possibility too. I became friends with a person on here a few months ago because we could relate to each other a lot, but then he stopped coming on (and this is in his words) because he 'didn't understand anyone here'. They also might just lose interest in pony, or were never as interested in pony enough to talk and discuss with other people about it in the first place. There are tons of reasons.
  17. I think using magic makes you tired (not the smaller spells like picking stuff up though) because you have to use your energy. I don't see why or how it would hurt when its something that is apart of you, and you're just using your energy. You might get side effects from using your energy and getting tired, such as getting a headache though. Other than that though, I don't think using magic hurts.
  18. I like taking the stairs to get exercise, but elevators are fun to ride on haha. You'd think I'd be afraid of both stairs and elevators considering I fell down the stairs when I was about 5 or 6 (amazingly I didn't get hurt), and I got stuck in an elevator for about 30 minutes to an hour when I was 8 or 9 (too many people got on; it was kind of fun to be honest haha), but I'm not. I voted elevators since its way more fun. I love jumping up and down on elevators too; I know I'm weird. xD
  19. The thing I disliked the most about the song was how repetitive it was. "We've got hearts as strong as horses", just kept being said over and over again. That was annoying. Other than that though, I had no problems with it. I liked it, and it was cute, but it wasn't anything special. It was sort of catchy, and I'm looking forward to hearing remixes of it though. Also, was anybody else reminded of the Lion King? The background music just made me think of it. Anyway, I'm sure we'll see better songs in the upcoming episodes.
  20. Ehh, not really. I'm not sure how I would feel about any of them getting their cutie marks yet. I'd rather them wait until the end of the show I think. I don't think Scootaloo or any of them getting their cutie marks in this episode would fit well, anyway. I probably would have mixed feelings if she or any of them got their cutie marks in this episode.
  21. I don't have much to say about this episode. I'm really really glad Scootaloo didn't fly, so that there is a stronger episode and moral. The pacing was a little odd at parts, but other than that I loved everything about this episode. Rainbow Dash was great in this episode, and I'm glad to see Ms. Harshwhinny again. The song was okay, but I think I liked the visuals more. The good episode streak countines.
  22. I don't think they paid much attention to the books when they went to her house. They were there to get the ring, and I don't think they would've paid much attention to anything other than that. It would be difficult for her to watch over all the stores in Equestria, but her enemies are in one spot of Equestria and she doesn't need to do that, anyway. The forest shes in is mostly unpopulated so I doubt there are any stores around near. And yeah they could just steal the books, and I know that they wouldn't just read for fun, but I don't think they even know she writes books, much less about her adventures. They could think those are just random books lying around in her house, if they paid attention to the books at all. I didn't see any covers on those books, so they wouldn't know, unless they took a closer look, and they wouldn't do that. Then again, this is all subjective. We don't know for sure, and its more of an opinion than a fact. She could just get rid of them item, or hide it somewhere he'll never find it. I think she just watches over that one part with those enemies in it. Its her special talent anyway, so it isn't that hard to believe, and they might be the only bad guys up there; From what we've heard there are no other enemies up there. Maybe they could work something out, but it'd be a lot of work, and its easier to write books.
  23. I think a mix of episodes for secondary characters would be good this season. Most of the episodes this season should focus on the mane six and the two story arcs, so that the focus isn't shifted away from that, but it wouldn't hurt having a few episodes centered around secondary characters. No more than 3 or 4 though. I also don't think background characters should get an episode. The background characters should stay just fanon, with maybe a few speaking roles in a few episodes, but nothing more than that. The secondary characters need more development, and it'd be great to see an episode around a secondary character. I'd personally like to see more Big Mac, Cheerilee, Luna, the CMC, Spike, and probably a few others.
  24. I'm neutral. I don't have much of an opinion on them either way. Most people dislike them because they're annoying, and stereotypical dumb male characters. I find them a bit annoying, and I can definitely see why people don't like them. A lot of the hate would go away if they got good character development, and were used in a more positive role.
  25. Why would they read it in the first place? I'm sure she keeps her books away from them, and they probably could care less about reading anything. I don't think selling the artifact would be a very good idea. And yeah, she could be a teacher in archeology, but not many ponies (if any at all besides the henchponies) live there, so I don't she could find a job like that. Of course she could just move, but I think shes in the forest for a good reason. If she wasn't there to fight against Ahuizotl, and whatever else could be up there, what would happen to Equestria? She could work for Celestia, but I'm not sure how that would work. Canterlot, and the forest shes in, is a far distance away, so they'd have trouble communicating. You have a good point on this though. It is glaringly obvious. /: I do think Daring Do works better as a fictional character, and would have preferred for them to keep it that way, but its not that far fetched. I didn't think it fit well in with Equestria at first, but, well, its Equestria. For Equestria, I think they made Daring Do believeable enough as a real character with those stories actually happening. Whose to say she never tweaked the stories in her book from real life at least a little bit, anyway? Don't get me wrong, I like her better as a fictional character, and it is better that way, but what I'm trying to say she isn't that bad as a real character. I thought this episode had a lot of plot holes at first, but it really only has one or two.
