Have you ever responded to a greeting meant for somebody else?
CT-1138 replied to Xievie's topic in General Discussion
Happens to me ALL the time! It's so embarrassing! What's even worse is when they're on a handless device, and they suddenly look at you, say hello, and then start having a conversation with themselves. -
movies/tv What show did you always watch when you were a kid?
CT-1138 replied to Xievie's topic in Media Discussion
I remember Angry Beavers and Dexter's Lab!. There was the earlier Spongebob episodes. On "One Saturday Mornings": Magic School Bus, Arthur, some others I can't really remember the titles to. Ed, Edd, and Eddy my mom didn't really approve of for my age group, but I still watched it sometimes. On Boomerang, I could catch: Loony Tunes, Tom&Jerry, Yogi Bear. There was also: the original Pokemon cartoons, Rugrats, Kablamm!, Catdog, Courage: The Cowardly Dog, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Pinkie and the Brain, Animainiacs, and so many more! -
movies/tv Unpopular Cartoon Related Opinions
CT-1138 replied to Moved to Elsewhere's topic in Media Discussion
-Adventure Time and Regular show is childish and annoying respectively -Drake and Josh, Amanda Show, and all those other live action children shows were never as good as any cartoon. -The Clone Wars was better than the ridiculous 5-minute "Clone Wars" minisode series -Most 90's superhero cartoons aren't as good as people remember -Teen Titans Go! is funny -Gumball is a good show -Family Guy is currently funnier than its earlier seasons as it moved away from being a Simpsons knock-off and into its own thing. Never liked -Rocket Power -Hey Arnold! -Rocko's Modern Life -Pepper Anne -Wild Thorneberries -Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack -Ginger -Cow and Chicken -Power Rangers (okay, not a cartoon, but still) -
Who is your biggest fictional crush right now?
CT-1138 replied to AstroNova's topic in General Discussion
Rainbow Dash. She's amazing! Those gorgeous magenta eyes, that adorable smile (hell, an adorable face!), her great sense of humor! She rocks! Oh, and when she laughs or giggles, I can't help but let my heart burst! She's special to me not just for her role in my entry to the fandom, but a perfect mix of personality and the most beautiful looks. She's perfection incarnate, and shares my value of loyalty and pranks. That doesn't go to say that she has her flaws though. She's kinda my opposite. She's athletic where I'm more literate. She has egotistical tendencies where I'd consider myself selfless. She cares about popularity, where I'm indifferent towards it. But that's just it, she's the yang to my yin. I just know it has to be love. She's an ever constant presence that never leaves my mind or heart. Her smile could instantly calm my roughest storm of rage. He laugh makes me wanna cry with happiness. Looking at her makes me want to physically meld with her. Not in a sexual way, but something deeper, more metaphorical. Damn, just thinking about her, I'm getting all misty eyed. I would vow to cherish her in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, to have and to hold her, for better and for worse, until death do us part. -

You can pick any pony to be your maid who and why?
CT-1138 replied to Valynne's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I choose Fluttershy. Why Fouttershy? She sings while she cleans, and pretty nicely too. Twilight would probably too OCD about cleanliness and I'd feel bad for messing up my room; Rarity the same. Applejack would be #1 on my call list if I ever needed a gardener, Rainbow Dash seems like she'd be better at making messes than cleaning them, same with Pinkie Pie. -
Will the next generation attempt to defeminize the franchise?
CT-1138 replied to Yes-Man's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I think Hasbro has seen the boons of profiting to a wider audience, and even though Generation 4 has already been pretty defeminized, G5 will probably be a more "general kids show" that can't be stereotyped into one gender. Something like Spongebob, where there's a steady balance of boy and girl characters of various ages that multiple age groups can identify with.- 36 replies

I love Reese's, but any candy that mixes chocolate and peanut butter will do. I remember as a kid that I was practically addicted to Reese cups, and I still proudly am!

What languages do you know or want to learn?
CT-1138 replied to Mint Petal's topic in General Discussion
Besides English, I am partially fluent in German. I took 3 and a half years of it between high school and college, and have been complemented by a native speaker or two. -
Haha, same exact way! The only thing sitting in a corner ever taught me was the importance of patience. Not a bad lesson, actually, but it didn't do what it was intended.

It was the belt for serious offenses, maybe just a quick a slap to the head if I did something stupid. I got the hot source without milk if I got caught swearing. When I got to my teens and was too old for all that nonsense, I was merely grounded from the tv and computer.

What's the fastest you've ever driven?
CT-1138 replied to Princess Periwinkle's topic in General Discussion
It's a 1999 Saab 9-3. Then again, my uncle was a motor head (I bought the car from my aunt), and there may have been work done on it that I don't know about. -

Watched Warm Bodies last night. It's a true "everybody movie". It's got comedy, romance, action, and suspense. A really fun movie I definitely would love to watch again some time.

What's the fastest you've ever driven?
CT-1138 replied to Princess Periwinkle's topic in General Discussion
It was an afternoon in the middle of the week and there was absolutely nobody on the highway (thankfully). I'm driving in my little 4-cylinder Saab 9-3. The speedometer says it can go up to 190mph, and me being the curious SOB that I am, decide to test this. I get up to 135 with the engine still ready to give more before I get scared and bring it back down to a more reasonable 70. -

Dunno the which Internet Explorer it was, I think 5. And it was on a Windows 95 computer that my Mom had on an old tower. -
What's the best way to deal with a storm?
CT-1138 replied to Harmonic Revelations's topic in General Discussion
I am usually either watching it from my garage, or stating out a window, depending in where the best lightning is at. Though, it's not uncommon for me to be scared into the house by an uncomfortably close flash. -
technology Have you ever dropped your mobile device?
CT-1138 replied to Cuhpcakes's topic in Media Discussion
Yes! I drop my phone all the time! It is on its' third screen! In fact, I jus dropped it not even five minutes ago! I am so pathetic. :PP -
Me and this wicked awesome WoW cosplayer at Chicago Comic Con (her wings actually extended with a pull-string!). Sorry for the weird eyes, my camera isn't the best.
