Her Highness (Celestia) would say: - Are you an orthodox christian? Why don't you call your Saint Apostle Peter "Apostle Stone"? And why don't you call you famous poet Alexander Pushkin "ProtectorOfMen Pushkin"? Since it's what those names mean in greek. Some people wanted to push it further - just for lulz. So, they suggest the name for Fluttershy - Дрожащий Стыд. 1. literally it means Shivering Shame. 2. It sounds like..."drozhashshy styd?" Hell, I can't even transcribe it properly into english: you don't even have letters for those sounds ('ы' & 'ж' ). THAT'S HARDCORE.

Elements of Chaos: what would they be?
Declen replied to Forlong's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
1. Chaos 2. Chaos 3. Chaos 4. Chaos 5. Chaos 6. Chaos In Hellenic (ancient Greek) mythology Chaos was the initial state of existence. Chaos was before everithing. And everything else, the world itself, that is called Cosmos (order), has spontanously evolved from Chaos. So: there are no elements of chaos, because Chaos was an element on itself. That is a nice approach, though. -
I read some blog about TV series. The author and her audience - mostly russian women - discussed "Game of Thrones", "Supernatural", "Hannibal" and so on. Then a question came: how does it happen thet women watch such stuff. Somebody responded: there are men outthere, who watch "My Little Pony", thet's interesting! That's how I first have got aware about MLP and bronies. So, they started to discuss bronies then, and one woman sayd: - They must be so confident about their masculinity, that they allow themselves to watch "My Little Pony".

I don't like anime. I think japanese are barbarians. And I hate LGBT-community for appropriating rainbow. I hope, Dashie would agree with me on the last one.

No. The idea is kinda cheep: take a usual pony face and put it onto a pink fluff ball. She is maybe adorable but: we know how exactly they made her adorable (I couldn't say it about MLP:FiM ponies, it's rather "zee Madgic!" with them) she isn't nearly as adorable as Fluttershy. (I could look at her pictures all the time) I also don't like her being complete idiot. Only funny thing I find about this is how they put Madame Cheeshole Legs into the story.

Why Is Romance "Out Of Character" For Most Of The Mane 6?
Declen replied to Shanks's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
There was a story once. A famous campaign manager gave an interview on the radio. He described some political situation and wanted to make an analogy. So, he sayd: "It's like in that joke about The Bad Boy and Rénmín Rìbào (chinese newspaper). Do you know it?" Host sayd: "No I don't. Tell me." "I wont tell you. It can't be sayd on the radio." After that, of course, every listener wanted to know, what was the joke. The only problem was... ther is no joke about The Bad Boy and Rénmín Rìbào. And I brong it up now because it seems to me, that there are no "obvious hints" to Mane Six asexuality.- 53 replies

I don't like it for several reasons. 1. Colour choice is much less handy then in the previous version. There we had three scalebars and could switch between RGB and HSB schemes. Now I practically have to write in a 0xRGB code each time I want to change the colour, because other options are pretty much unusable for me. 2. It has more stuff I don't need but it misses some manestiles that were there in the pervious version (like Zecora's). 3 It still doesn't have manestiles for Colgate and Octavia! No, It's not just you.

Fluttershy's hidden powers and untapped abilities.
Declen replied to Anadu Kune's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Only thing I can say to Fluttershy critics as well as to her admirers: Never underestimate the strenght of phobia. It's a real mental disturbence that sometimes should be treated with professional help. And Fluttershy has two of them: a sociophobia (fear of society or simply of many ponies together) and fear of dragons. Both are so strong that they affect Fluttershy physically. And mentally, of course. Why was Fluttershy scared of her own shadow in "Dragonshy", while usually she isn't? Because of her fear of dragons. Yeah, but in the end of that episode she'd overcome this phobia, hasn't she? No, she hasn't. What we saw in her stand-off against the dragon was another case of flutterrage. That really heppens sometimes when fear of something turns to rage and the affected person throws himself against the object of his fear trying to destroy it. In "Putting You Hoof Down" Fluttershy have learned to use this effect and "unleash the beast". Her flutterbitch state was nothing but a serie of self-inducted bursts of flutterrage. Hopfully she did overcome her sociophobia in "Hurricane Fluttershy", but her fear of dragons is still with her as we could see in "Dragon Quest" -
I would suggest eigher - the pilot episode: it's a perfect exposition to the whole show and gives enough information to the quality of the show in general (so, if your friend doesn't like it, then MLP:FiM is just not for him). or - Applejack Season: it's very well written and executed, very funny, best AJ episode and one of the best character episodes ever. I can even say, it's enough to show just the Applejack award scene to give someone taste of the show.

Fluttershy would probably think, that in the Cold War the engaged sides tried to terrify each other by freezing innocent creatures to death. Twilight Sparkle, beeng the creature of order, would say that the whole term doesn't make sence: it is called "Cold War" but it was not a war (main antagonists weren't in a state of war with each other) and local conflicts didn't happen in Siberia or Canada but rather in warm countries like Vietnam or Afganistan.

What would be the worst episode to watch first?
Declen replied to Double Jump's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Probably, because it's "girly" and "mundane"It differs why people watch the show. I myself whatch it partly because it's about girls doing their girly stuff. Real stuff: not just shopping, gossip, and boys. So I have no problem with a "girly and mundane" episode. In my list Ticket Master falls into "remarcable episode" category. It's important (it shows other sides of Mane Six and early problems of getting together as a group) and enjoyable. -
What would be the worst episode to watch first?
Declen replied to Double Jump's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
It's not that at all. It's just that as a finale the episode relies too much on what was shown previously, especially in character developement. Add the whole pacing issue, viewer, who've never watched any other episode will never understand what the hay is going on here, who are all these creatures and what is their problem anyway. Heart's Warming Eve. It's actually not about history at all. There is no more history in it, than in our Cristmass Story. Allusion of which, obviously, this apisode is. So, it doesn't include: Discord, alicorns, griffons and other evolved animals (who should fight ponies for the rest of recources when that Ice Age came). And sure more other things. Because it wasn't the point of the Heart's Warming Story. -
What would be the worst episode to watch first?
Declen replied to Double Jump's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I watched the show by the order. That means I started with pilot two-parter. And I liked it. Futhermore, I think, the first episode is perfect as a pilot: in 20 minutes it does a gerat deal of exposition. That's how I, probably, became interested and wanted to see more. So, pilot episodes may work for some people (like me) as first to watch. -
What languages do you know or want to learn?
Declen replied to Mint Petal's topic in General Discussion
(Russian: Hitler kaputt, war is over, pick up your greatcoat, we are going home). Russian is my native language. German is my country language (I live in Germany for 10 years now and know german well enough to graduate high school and study in a university). And I hope to be fluent enough in English, that I'v learned mostly by watching american movies and series. Tecnically, it's not.Even in your defenition. Mashines don't understand high-level programming languages. And I don't think that -Nobady- knows machine codes, which every high-level code have to be translated into. Also, we don't use it to communicate with machines. We use it to roole them. -

There are couple of strange things about clothing, though. 1. Winter clothes. In the begining of "Winter Wrap Up" we learn they have winter clothes (scarf, sadle, boots). But then nopony wears them! Neighet Twilight nor enypony else. 2. What's about horseshoes? They are mentioned all the time, but nopony seems to wear them eigher. Also, these ice skates look cute, don't they?
