  1. I don't know, the ponies are very human to me. It would seem a little improper, me being male and them being female. (Yeah, I'm a little old fashioned, lol) But if I were a pony I would totally marry Fluttershy. In that case yeah, it would be very nice.
  2. I don't know about that. That would probably give bronies a very bad name if he went ahead with the genocide and everything thing else that he did. He pretty much single handedly drove the short under nose mustache out of style because it was associated with him.
  3. As much as I dislike the Equestria Girls movies, I LOVE the design for human Fluttershy. Her beauty is absolutely stunning.
  4. Here's a dry audition of Big Macintosh that I threw together. It may not be the best, but it was a cold run. I can refine it if needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7KpLbvvIyk If anyone would like me to voice act for Big Mac in a project, just PM me. Thanks!
  5. Still need a Big Mac? I can do a pretty good impression of him. Plus I have bit of a southern accent.
  6. I don't know, the way she put things together and found Cranky Doodle's old girlfriend in ponyville was pretty sharp
  7. Sounds cool! But you should make a Facebook page dedicated to this event in order to spread the word better.
  8. Many have been discussed already, but here are mine. Clopfics, grimdark, Pinkie being a murderous psychopath, Dinky being Derpy's illegitimate child. I would also like to mention the "emo" factor to the story My Little Dashie. I mean I like MLD for it's imagination and the story. I know it is supposed to be a sad story at the end, which is well done. But why does always have to be over emotional every step of the way, like in "emotional readings" for instance, when the story stands on it own?
  9. They said the same thing about Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and well...........
  10. So I decided to recycle this thread, lol So who's going to Dragoncon 2015?
  11. I'm wearing my Vinyl Scratch T right now on Myrtle Beach.
  12. I was banned from a Facebook group called "The Awesome Brony / Pegasister group" for making a simple project post. That place is the Westboro Baptist Church of the brony fandom.
  13. Watched the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers movie last night being yesterday marked the 20th anniversary.
  14. It just gets me that with the recent issue of same sex marriage, people kept pushing tolerance and how it does not affect others, and that their right to marry should not be taken away. I agree with this. But then these same people turn around and get worked up because some people happen to have a fondness for a civil war relic. Where's all the talk of tolerance there? Don't don't like gay marriage? don't have one. Don't like the confederate flag? don't fly one, but don't impose on the rights of others if you don't want yours imposed on. Live and let live people. There are bigger issues in the world.
  15. "What is life? Is it nothing more than an endless search for a cutie mark? And what is a cutie mark? But a constant reminder that we're all only one bug bear attack away from oblivion? And what of the poor gator? Flank forever blank. Destined to an existential swim down the river of life to an unknowable destiny?" Sorry, couldn't resist
  16. I used to think that airline jets in the night sky were space ships going into outer space. Too much sci-fi as a kid, lol
  17. I'm with everyone else in not buying clothes but buying things. I always go to find collectables and such. There used to be a thrift store that I went to that I called my "lucky thrift store" because I would almost always find something Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers related in there each time I went. But then it closed down :/ I also build props and make films, and thrift store are great places to find nic-nacs for props and set decorations for cheap.
  18. I don't get the hate for the word. I find it to be a rather cynical and superficial to get worked up about it. I mean it just a piece of affectionate fan lingo. It's all fun.
  19. Because in western culture, cartoons and animation are associated with being kids things, whereas in Japan animation is made for just about everyone.
  20. I know you said that you were not talking about the quality of cable television, but that does play a huge role. With all of the nonsense like bad sitcoms and all those reality shows, people get tired of paying a big bill for that crap. Me an my family have pretty much decided to get rid of our cable for that very reason. From my experience, all of the creative an original stuff is online now. Plus you can ick and choose what you want to watch on things like Netflix.
  21. I do admire her confidence and take inspiration from it. I wish I was as thick skinned as her sometimes, lol.
  22. I do like the idea of having a female companion. But the ritual of dating is so stupid, and all of the BS that goes with it, espeaclilly these days. I had enough of that nonsense in college. Plus values in western culture have went so far down that it is hard to find a good family oriented girl anymore. The only ones who claim to be good are always some kind of religious nut, which says a lot. (Not for me.) So yeah, it would probably be best if I just stay single and by pass all of that. There are advantages to it
