    The human world is a world of horse girls who all have pony magic of some kind just like Equestrian horses (Earth pony humans, pegasi humans, unicorn humans); Things work rather similiar, but there's more focus on their being universities for horse girls to go to to train their special talents, with some of them being more mundane universities for magic, and more prestigious ones where those with exceptional talents get hand picked by celestia to do special jobs around equestria. The mane six as a group of new students at Celestia's university (or instead make it a university founded by starswirl the bearded) where students with exceptional pony magic learn to control and use their magic; None of them have discovered their special talents or what their magic is focused on yet, in a kind of Pre-cutie mark chronicles thing. The mane six all become friends, discover their talents, Celestia takes on twilight as a protege, ect. ect., and then NMM/Luna escapes from the moon and attacks. The mane six all man up, rally the other students to help, and the school tries to invade luna's Stronghold and rescue celestia, the mane six all become bonded to the EOH, ect. Then continue on with the group being groomed by celestia as the new EOH bearers, and more villains keep attacking along the way. Basically, make it kind of like a cross between shows like Sailor moon and hero academia, and make it a full action bent with some school antics on the side.

    >will they become alicorns? No and NOOOOOOO. We'd know by now with all the leaked crap and images that have surfaced. Additionally, Alicorn lore is at an absolute minimum for the movie in order to bring in the newbies/mainstream audience, so there's nothing about alicorns to lead up to it. THREE. There are no alicorn mane six toys, apart from that bootleg Rarity one (that was just an old celestia/cadence one recolored and is an "old" model anyways), and you can DEFINITELY bet that if they EVER make the six alicorns, they're going to merch the HELL out of it; giant castle playset, giant toys of them as princesses, ect. As for what's going to happen, we kind of already had the climax spoiled by the picture book. I'm hoping for more than that, because it honestly sounds lame as hell ( that occurs afterwards, but that's what we got from the book, and the images from the trailer of the other 5 hugging an exhausted twilight' holding storm king's staff pretty clearly point to it as true.

    Could be the temperment/morality of a dragon dictates its colors-- Morally good dragons or dragons filled with positive emotions heart's glow blue while dragons filled with negative emotions have their hearts turn red. the dragon's actions/morality/soul could also be what dictates the magical abilities of their hearts after death, such as a dragon that actually cared for others or protected others having their heart function with positive emotions while one that was greedy and selfish would react to negative emotions (Ala the Alicorn amulet)

    Equestria girls has the EOH used against the mane six constantly (It almost comes off as a massive liability more than anything there); Sunset shimmer corrupted it, Gloriosa used it, Midnight sparkle corrupted it, Juniper Montage corrupted and used it...

    I hope that they take some of the ideas they left on the cutting room floor and reuse them in the future; the simple concept of draconic hearts being valuable comodities opens up alot of lore potential, especially if they're possibly magic (crystal heart connection?) Kludgetown is that Fish/furry people city from the movie.

    the image was pretty metal looking; Kind of sad the Designs are more goofy fish people than the Elder scrolls looking creatures in the artbook.

    So, Its kind of interesting that dragons have crystal hearts that you can mine from them; think this might have be how the crystal heart came about?

    Its from the shadowlock arc; that arc was stated explicitly to tie into S7's plot, and the sole point of that series, in a meta sense, was to introduce that final image of an evil alicorn looking guy.

    Would be interesting if it was a "Striking them down is an insta lose condition" kind of thing, and the only way to beat the pony was via a nonviolent, virtuous method instead.

    Doesn't look like sombra; and it'll probably be a callback in some way to the pony of shadows legend/being from castlemania too.

    Emoji was being massively backed by Sony; it was seriously pushed by some of the higher execs and advertised hard. I don't think Lion's gate has as much of a personal investment in MLP succeeding as Sony had in Emoji (plus, Lion's gate isn't as big of a juggernaut as sony was for marketing)

    Sorry, a little confused as to what you mean here, could you elaborate? Eh, it being JUST twilight fighting him would be almost as bad IMO >.< I want a mane six adventure, not just a mane one. That being said, I'm hoping she's out of this one due to the EQG specials having starlight staying behind while the others are off on a "friendship emergency"

    My theory is that the pony of shadows is actually Starswirl the bearded; I'm thinking he's going to be corrupted by some sort of evil that the six legends of magic fought together, and the reason why Celestia and luna never found out about him is because the other 5 ended up being forced to imprison him/seal him away themselves.

    So, what's everyone's theories for who the pony of shadows is? We know it was mentioned in castlemania, and we also know that its supposedly the villain of this season's finale. We also know that there's supposedly an image of him in the shadowlock arc, of a changeling looking alicorn demon. we also know that The Legends of magic series will possibly end with him being featured in the final issue. So what are you theories about who he is? it seems unlikely its going to end up being a piece of luna given what we've seen so far.

    Well, she gave twilight the bottle of C** pina colada in the S4 premier, and also acted as a yoda like mentor in magic duel in S3.

    I will say though, to be fair: the brony fandom has shrunk MASSIVELY from what it once was; it's barely a fraction of what it was 3 years ago. So he's kind of safe criticizing the show now, its no longer a pop culture phenomenon that was trendy and had lots of people interested in it like it was years ago.

    One thing about pinkie was that I really felt the heart at the center of her old shirt "fit" her really well. given her optimism and general emotional role in the group, a heart almost seems to fit her as a symbol just as much as balloons. Haha, it seems like RD's the one that most people are happiest about all around XD Its kind of hard to make out the other 5 for a really good look at them sadly; can barely see AJ for example. >.<

    Daring done I'm also looking forward to but utterly 100% disagree with to change a changeling. I hated the changelings reformation and having an episode about the last Unchanged changeling (apart from chrysalis) being turned into a rainbow beetle too fills me with dread. On the note of daring done, I'm wondering if we'll get an appearance of one of the legends of magic in that episode? (Since we're probably just going to get 3 stories in the Campfire tales episode, and that leaves 2 to be shown in other episodes). Actually, on the note of campfire tales, It looks like they may be trying to push that one further back in when its released? I wonder if its to try and make sure there's a stonger audience connection between it and the finale?

    I don't know, it sounds like it'll be an episode that ends up having a message about rarity's truly great attributes being her character and not her looks, and given how utterly INCREDIBLE she was in the last episode, I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

    Im just glad that RD got an outfit change, hers was probably one of the ones I felt needed an update most (her and AJ) I still think she looks a bit off with that long of hair, though that's more a "pony up" thing than her outfit

    So in short: Person who knows nothing about MLP apart from it "being that girls show from the 80s" writes an article in which it lumps MLP in with other IP movies like emoji or the recent trolls movie. /yawn. This is kind of why I fear for the reception of the upcoming mlp movie; the majority of people out there won't know it as anything more than a movie based on the 80s MLP brand and will prejudge it based on pop culture knowledge of what the MLP brand is. The current MLP show is one with alot of lore and characters driving it, rather than the concept of "cute ponies" driving it, which is what people will be expecting based on their knowledge of MLP.

    I'd rather it be action in order to differentiate it from FIM; as things stand, they really don't have much room to make it different from the normal show (ESPECIALLY since the mane six besides Sci-twi are too similiar to the pony six), and their latest attempts to do SOL in the shorts have been... lacking. If they don't manage to give EQG a TRUE unique flavor that's different from FIM, its going to struggle, and in order to do that they need to make the two show's styles different in some manner, and FIM is just hardcore SOL right now. To be honest, I'd rather it be reversed (with FIM being more actiony and EQG being slice of life), but the current direction of FIM doesn't look to be changing much to an action bent
