What was your first home town or city like.

My hometown was Port. St. Lucie, Florida. At the time I was born, it had a population of like 75k people (now it's getting closer to 186k people). I lived on the very edge of the city where there was still some dirt roads in my neighborhood. There were lots of parks in the city but it was more of a city for retired people who want to settle life in Florida. I lived like 2 hours away from Orlando and 90 minutes from Miami though.

I don't miss it at all lol.

My first home town was in a suburb in Australia, Victoria. It's infamous for being one of the most dangerous areas in our state. I still live here by the way!

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Australia. I'll add it into the original post.

A popularity contest, a lot of untrue stories, "weavers" of reality, for all intents and purposes, fabricated memories, and regretful decisions, some decent people in between. Something special about this nothing special place. It exudes a sense of confidence about itself at the same time as its perpetual nihilism... Not much is real, and everyone has got everyones number/bluff, and nobody wants to be held accountable for anything they have said or done, so they hold social coos to determine what be accepted as fact and what needs to be disregarded as fallacy, not very good people for the most part, but some of them are just trying to make it the little bit better it can be, and I am sure there are over a dozen ways to do so other than whine about how others don't, and I am sure my immature behavior at time in "retrospect" is about as beneficial as their judgment of myself...

My first home town was Anchorage, Alaska. It has a population around 300k now but I don't really remember it seeming very big. It was just a grey, oldish looking town where I lived. I haven't been there for a while now; we moved around a lot since then. It would be interesting going back to see if it still looks familiar.

Ever been to Fairbanks? I visited there a couple years back.

everything, sounds like needless snitching, do you want a physical description, small, town, country life, somewhat suburban, it has almost everything to do with where I live. 2 real parks, yes they have public bathrooms... XD(shout outs to "Salem Ohio",) my home town....

I have been to Fairbanks. We went to visit relatives there once when I was really little. Strangely I don't remember as much about the city as I do the house we stayed in and the drive up there, which was very scenic, but long. It took us most of the day to get there. I guess memories have strange priorities when you're little, and I wish I could remember more of the city now.

The first town I was even in I barely have any memory of since I was only 2 years old at that time. The town I actually grew up in I still live in right now. Been here for 18 years of my life. It's a peaceful town with someone unfortunate people sprinkled around but it's a pretty safe place to live in.

I was born in Pittsburgh, PA but I have absolutely no memory of it. We moved to Virginia when I was only a year old and stayed till I was five. I remember Blacksburg, VA quite well and consider it my first real hometown. I really liked it there.

A small apartment near a baseball stadium. An old house in a cul du sac. A small yellow house a block from the school. All in perpetually hot and sunny (except in the mornings when it's overcast) San Diego.

Couldn't really tell you about city life or the culture. I left when I was 6.

SCU!

London, England, though to be more specific, Sidcup which is located in southeast London near the edge of the city's limit. Compared to Greater London--I've been there once and it was pretty hectic--where I lived was peaceful though many of the old shops have gone now due to time.

I was born in California, so technically Torrance is my home town, but I remember nothing about it. I consider Ahwatukee, Arizona my home town because I spent majority of my childhood there. Its a beautiful little town in the foothills, being overlooked by Phoenix, meant for the middle class, and rich. I you wanted to see some exotic cars, this was the place to go... in the upper foothills were all the rich people and their Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis, and even some Paganis. I recently returned to Ahwatukee a few months ago, and man I wish we never had to leave.

Born in a quaint town called Santa Cruz, in the once beautiful California. It was great! You could walk to the beach, and chill out for a while before work and after school. Beaches were clean-ish, and it wasnt crowded. Then all the yuppies from northern states came, trashed our beaches, polluted our waters with motor homes, and killed the sunny chill atmosphere with a "EVERYTHING IS ENTITLED TO ME!" attitude. Which is why i had to move to Washington state.

North Highlands, CA. It was the "bad side" of the train tracks in a semi slummy neighborhood of crackwhores and drug dealers. An arsonist lit our neighbors tree on fire once. Ive been a part of 3 drive by shootings.  And a guy commited suicide at the playgound on the elementary school I went to.

I loved the Boardwalk at Santa Cruz.  Fun memories there! :D

Bloomington, Illinois, located in the middle of the state. Population of about 70,000 I believe. Not the most exciting town, pretty rundown and old, is kinda a dump tbh.  I miss it sometimes though.
