Would you sleep in the same bed as a pony?

Would you sleep in the same bed as a pony? As in just friends, maybe a little cuddling but nothing beyond that.

 

As in like you are still human when you came to Equestria. Some of the ponies are such good friends of yours that they even like to have you cuddle them in bed with them? (And sleep in the same bed as them as you drift off to sleep cuddling them)

 

Or as in very a cold winter night they don't want you to feel cold. So, let's say Applejack (or somepony else) wants to sleep next to you to keep you warm during a cold night. Since you don't have fur like she does, you can't handle the cold as much as her.

I have a very Ancient Greek sense of boundaries in terms of what I'm comfortable with. Sharing a bed in a platonic friendship is something I'd be willing to participate in.

The real question is would they want to sleep in the same bed as me? I tend to toss and turn and hog all the blankets whenever I sleep. I also drool and I need to have a fan on, or I'll be awake paying attention to every little sound.

I'm Canadian, so the cold's not a problem. I've shared a bed with my other male friends, but isn't there some social rule to let a female take the bed? I'm sure if the bed was too small, then an arrangement could be made to sleep perpendicular to the mattress with our legs hanging off the side (I've done it before, not too bad). As for the cuddling, my rule with humans still applies: no unnecessary touching.

Fitting a full grown pony onto a normal bed might be hard, they'd take up all the room.

Sometimes when I have insomnia, I fantasize that I'm cuddling with one of the ponies (usually Twi in the old Golden Oak Library), and it usually helps me fall asleep.  So, I reckon you can guess my answer to the question.

Oh damn, man, you make a good point.  Seems like no horned pony could ever sleep with anyone else.  It's such a safety hazard.  Unless maybe advanced unicorns can put a no-clipping spell on their horn.

No, for various reasons.

1.) I have allergies to pretty much anything with fur, so I'd be up sneezing all night.

2.) Ponies probably shed a lot, so I'd wake up covered in fur and would probably feel really itchy.

3.) I move around a lot when I sleep.

4.) That's just weird. I like my personal space, especially when sleeping.
