Watching the MLP movie in theaters

Not just dirty looks, but the theaters would most likely start prohibiting us bronies from ever seeing the film due to numerous complaints from parents. I guess will just have to wait and see.

NO! nothing will happen, movies are use to adults seeing Disney/Pixar movies alone, MLP will be no different.

Just as long as you are not annoying they can't kick you out. And it is illegal for them to not sell you a ticket, based on age or gender.

If they dont allow bronies in, I'll feel so bad. I'll more than likely be let in since im female, but for you boys its just not fair.
We have just as much a right to watch the movie as everyone else. ;n;
If they didn't let me in, i'll just take my 7 and 8 year old cousins to see it. (I might anyway)
They're obsessed with MLP and they'd probably LOVE it! They cant not let me in if its for taking little kids.

I work at the movie theater. I see just about every animated movie. Parents don't mind...so...nothing to worry about.

EDIT 1: And did I mention that I get to see movies for free since I work at my theater? Yeah...I'm TOTALLY gonna go see the MLP movie.

Relax, everypony.  That would be illegal.

Personally, I'm very much looking forward to attending.  I actually hate going to the movies for a variety of reasons, but I'll make an exception for this because I gotta go out and support the community!

You dont even have to bring your cousins as not letting you in because you're an adult would be illegal. Though, you should totally bring them just for the sake of seeing it with them.

I probably will, they absolutely adore me! we always talk about MLP, sing MLP songs, and they make me play ponies with them. xD

They'd probably love it if I took them, I can just imagine the looks on their cute lil faces! It was so cute, their birthday was a few weeks ago, and everything they got, im not even kidding, was MLP. Seriously. I helped most of the family pick out the MLP stuff they'd like and its easy to say everything was a hit~

And the time I came over to see them cosplaying Rarity, they totally LOST it! Their mom (my cousin) was telling me they wouldn't stop talking about it for weeks! I'm proud to be such a loved person to them. ;u;

Buck them, sign a complaint about there being too many noisy kids in the theater.

Give dirty looks to the moms that can't discipline their children running around screaming in a public location.

I just hope Hasbro aren't going to do what they did with the two EG movies and release it a month after the american release in the UK.

I really REALLY don't want to have to avoid spoilers for a whole month  >_>

Well, the movie is being distributed worldwide by Lionsgate, and they usually release their films in North America and the UK concurrently, so I don't think we'll have to wait long. In fact, I actually wouldn't be surprised if we ended up getting it before the US, like maybe the last week of October when schools usually have a half-term break.

I look forward to the movie. I didn't get the chance to see either of the first two Equestria Girls movies in theaters, which I think would have been a fun experience.

And now that I've converted my family, besides my dad, I can imagine us seeing it in theaters. Alternatively, a small group of friends back in Washington, (where we're moving back to :D) are Bronies.

I've never been to a movie with a group of friends before, so this would be the ultimate opportunity. Needless to say, I am excited.

If it's anything like EqG and RR, there will be more bronies than families.

Good times.....shameful as well.

Because while the parents didn't give us dirty looks (then again, it was pretty dark to see clearly), they would sit off to the sides. There was a sense of confusion. You could feel it. Kid would be skipping down the aisle, excited for the movie, dad following behind, awkwardly shuffling along with this look of "this is theater #5, right?"

But like I said, the theater, both times, were predominantly the adult fans.

Depending on where you watch it and how popular the movie is (the EqG films never filled the theater more than half capacity and I live in San Diego. Nowhere close to a small city), that will decide how people will react.

In San Diego, we're more liberal, so grown men watching MLP is more of a weird thing than a homosexual and/or child predator thing, as some more hyper-conservative locations may see it as.

And if Hasbro pours a lot into marketing, the film could be more popular than the EqG films, attracting more families.

And when families outnumber the adult fans, perhaps even in San Diego the dirty looks may come.

Side note, when I went to watch Rainbow Rocks, I was alone. The woman taking the ticket (she was like 19) looks at me and asks "are you alone". It was clear I was alone. There was no one else besides me.

I wouldn't call that a dirty look, but I do wonder if she legitimately wanted to know or if it was a low-blow.

I will definitely be going to see this at the cinema, I might even go with my siblings if they're available.

everyone buy tickets to this movie! for the glory of equestria do it! do it for yourself your wives and your children! let that day ring in history as the day we stormed the doors of Cineplex and brought honour to every stallion mare and philly. now my brethren we ride, FOR CELESTIA, AND FOR EQUESTRIA!
