Most people I know don't really wear them. Most people just check their time on their phones. I've always liked watches for some reason. I've worn one most of the time since I was a kid.

Yep! Had my current watch for ages now. Can't do without it - it's just so much more fluid to check the time than with a phone. 

 

But apparently everyone expects right-handed people to wear it on their left wrist? That just isn't gonna happen. Right wrist supremacy.

I used to until it ran out of power, it's a Swiss brand Candino watch. Probably will start wearing again, just when I feel like it.

I don't. I find it more convenient to check out the time on a phone. That, and I always feel uncomfortable wearing a watch.

I can't live without a watch. I'd never use a phone because it's too bulky. A watch is not only an incredibly useful tool, it's a piece of jewelry that says something about your sense of style. 

I wear a Mickey Mouse watch that plays two tunes (Mickey Mouse Club March and It's A Small World) and I feel naked without it. Unfortunately, I wear a costume for my job and can't wear the watch with it during those hours. (But when I do, it's on the left hand).

I've never understood the convenience argument for using a phone - just glancing at my wrist seems much quicker than having to pull my phone out of my pocket (my phones case also covers the screen, which adds another layer to get through).

 

Added to my personal situation, my job is in a haematology lab - so a lot of the time (pun not intended XD) physically handling my phone is a contamination risk, making a watch necessary for checking the time.

I wear an Invicta watch on my right hand whenever I walk around with long sleeves. It's a beautiful watch and very cheap when it comes to watches. When I start working in the future I want to get a Lange & Söhne watch because I think the designs are amazing and most brownish watches go with a lot of clothes, especially L&S because of their simple but clear and clean appearance.

 

I really like watches because they have a kind of sophistic air around them and look beautiful, kinda like fountain pens. I guess I'm just a sucker for these kind of things.

I used to wear a smartwatch. A Gear 2 Neo, but I sold it after I got an iPhone because obviously it won't work with it. Though I really want an Apple Watch. :c

It was one of the most expensive items in my possession, it was almost as much as my phone.

 

I lost it somewhere in my room, and now it's gone forever D:

 

So I just use my phone instead ;-;

I have a watch I wear every time I go outside. Inside though I don't wear it. Unfortunately it's got a black strap. I wish the strap was pink with some flowers and hearts on it

I used to wear a watch. Then I started working on aircraft where we're not allowed to wear jewelry for obvious reasons. I still wear one (basic analog) when I go backpacking (There's no point in bringing a cellphone, and it can be used to find north)
