Do you miss unicorn Twilight Sparkle?

Eh; Twilight Sparkle is Twilight Sparkle; regardless of what pony species she is. Arguably the "Princess" part of her character is more important than the fact that she gained wings.

Nope. I highly prefer Twilight as an Alicorn. It is a signification of all that she has done in the past, as a constant reminder. That to me is special. Plus, she is cutest princess.

Nah, I got used to her new wings pretty quickly. Looking back, it kinda feels weirder seeing her without them to be honest. Twilight is Twilight though, the adorkable book-horse of friendship we all love.

Yes. I'll likely always feel that Twilight was a far superior character as a unicorn. 

 

I detested her in season 4. Her character flaws and ability to make mistakes were largely removed and she frequently acted as a moral compass for the rest of the mane six in an apparent effort to make her perfect. She was also glorified heavily over the mane five whilst also being thrust into intense fight scenes an attempt to make us gawk over how amazingly badass she is. 

 

But now that her flaws have returned and she's become more likable to me, I still don't really like her much. One of the reasons is due to how much I feel she's wasting her status as a princess. Back when Twilight was a unicorn, we frequently saw her busy in her studies. Now that she's a princess, we barely see her busy anymore at all. She simply sits around and stacks books into a pyramid because she's bored of waiting to be called for a mission by the map, and does not take any initiative to do something progressive with the title she's been gifted. Honestly, how in the the hell was she busier as a unicorn than she is as an alicorn princess? 

 

And on top of it all, I really just detest just her immensely aggravating tendency to be the center of attention at all times, even in episodes that are supposed to be putting focus on another character. Unfortunately, poor Fluttershy is the most frequent victim of alicorn Twilight's spotlight-hogging. In It Ain't Easy Being Breezies, Fluttershy was rendered unable to solve the problem that she helped cause just so that Twilight could step in and save the day with a highly contrived spell that had "deus-ex-machina" written all over it, immediately making her the hero of the episode. In The Hooffields and McColts, she utterly steamrolled Fluttershy, apparently forgetting that she was even there as she attempted to solve the problem all on her own.

 

 I simply didn't find Twilight as annoying back when she was a unicorn. I actually liked her quite a lot.

Actually, I do miss unicorn Twilight. However, I don't find anything wrong Alicorn Twilight. I guess it is just the old feel miss kind of thingy :T.

I do not get why people hate Alicorn Twilight. I think it is perfectly fine. The only actual change was her ability to fly.

I really enjoyed unicorn twilight and it was fun watching her develop as a character from when she was uninterested in even being a friend to now her being the princess of it. I feel her being an alicorn doesn't change that much, maybe only the fact that she gets noticed on the streets slightly more than usual

Not really. Don't get me wrong when I say that I really did enjoy Twilight as a unicorn, becoming an alicorn added more development after being the main protagonist of the show for a while.
