I almost died in real life when my temperature rose to 105.3 when I had strep throat/fever.

Whoa--I'm sorry.

I can sympathize.

A while back I ended up in the ICU with Diabetic ketoacidosis, a 103 temp, unbelievably excruciating back pain, and delirium (I was apparently crazy as loon for about three days). Wasn't fun.

I'm pretty much cautious about anything so aside of incident of hurting myself..I don't consider this as scary but just weird/creepy.

Spoiler

Back when I was working in the mail-room at the university I have to deliver this one letter to this unfamiliar building on the campus. It was hard to find the given address, so I want and check the basement of the building. Since that's what the address seems to apply. I don't know, the building is confusing. I would expect to find an office but I didn't. So I want down further to the hallway hoping to find an office. There I saw an open window and i thought that must be the office. I look inside, the room is dark and it's just a storage room. But there's large man there and he was leaning on the table. I thought he was just guarding or just taking his break, so I asks to him if he can help me. He just stood there and stare at me. I thought he didn't hear me or just being rude, so I shouted louder more than once this time  if he can help find this address. Again, no answer from him just staring. I was a little upset by his rudeness that I was thinking of stepping in to ask him face to face. But the way he was standing there so sniff it begins to get a bit freaky for me. I know he saw me and heard me because he was looking straight at me. I didn't want to stick around longer, especially since I'm alone in the basement and it was dim down there as well. So I quickly walk away and back upstairs. I finally find the address though but I ask one of the worker about the man down in the basement in this room. and asks if he's a worker. Now this may seems like a typical scary story you heard or whatnot, but the worker answered me that they don't have anyone working in the basement and there's no office to be working there anyways. So he just tell me he will report the man under suspicion.

Believe it or not, I don't find it scary because I might have overthink about this man is up to something or whatever. So I wouldn't jump in conclusion or make assumptions  if I were you after reading this. It's a bit vague.  But I think that the only reason why it creeps me out a bit is the way he  just stands there so sniff and snares at me without any response  at all.

When I was still little, I remember having a dream where I went into the bathroom and noticed that the cold tap was running into a full sink of water, with the overflow drain being the only thing to stop it from spilling over. I remember the flannel floating on top of the water. Anyway. When I woke up, I decided to go to the bathroom. It was very late at night and everyone was asleep. But I noticed the bathroom door was open with the light on and nobody was in there. So I crept towards it and noticed that the sink was in the same condition as how it was in my dream moments before.

I quickly stopped the tap and drained the sink. Suddenly it felt like the air itself had stopped and everything was silent. Not average silent. Absolute nothing silent like time had suddenly frozen. Everything felt like it came into an absolute sharp focus where I could see even the tiniest detail of anything I looked at. I stepped out of the bathroom and could have sworn I saw my parents smiling at me through the door from their bed in their room. When I looked back towards the bathroom, there was what I can only describe a giant ball of light. It started to chase me up the hall back towards my room. Weirdest thing about it, I could have sworn I saw the number 1000 engraved on the ball of light as I dared to look back at it. In my panic, I managed to make it back to my room. Suddenly things were back to normal.

I would have put it down to being a nightmare. But, I never went back to bed that night. I even dared to sneak back out into the hall. My parents were fast asleep and the bathroom light was still on. I didn't go to switch it off. It must have been something to really spook my awoken imagination to generate all that. It gave me actual nightmares for a good couple of years.

I almost drowned once when I was a teenager. I was swimming in the ocean and got caught in an outgoing current and I couldn't swim hard enough to make headway against it. I thought I'd never get to shore until a miraculous wave came in from the side and pushed me out of the current and I was able to swim to safety. But it was a terrifying experience and I had nightmares for years afterward.
