Most recently watched was Yosuga no Sora: In Solitude, Where We Are Least Alone.

Really quite a touching story and interesting how it has multiple endings (so it stays true to the visual novel). It is a very well done show, however for those who are thinking of checking it out; be warned. It is extremely NSFW. It's as close to hentai as you can get without showing actual intercourse. And of course, there's the incest route too. If you are into more mature anime however, and can overlook (or even enjoy these things) I would highly recommend it.

Multiple endings? How does that even work? Does the first few episodes follow a linear storyline and the rest of the episodes all show a different ending from there?

While admittedly confused by the idea of multiple endings, I'm definitely checking it out as it does sound very interesting. I don't mind NSFW stuff too much, I can't say I enjoy it but if it isn't a poor excuse for showing B00BZ, I'm okay with it. I've also looked for something good to watch in a while and this might very well be what I'm looking for

For my part, I've been busy with the VN adaptation of Little Busters (perhaps it's the other way around, I'm not sure). I absolutely adore it thus far, I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good VN to play.

Multiple endings might suggest the anime has several arcs depicting a different ending. Similar to what they did with Amagami which had a number of eps featuring the Kaoru path and another number of eps featuring the Ayatsuji path for the main character. I've never seen YnS so I'm just guessing :P

I really gotta watch some new anime. I used to watch anime so much more. Some ones I wanna watch are: Panty and Stocking, A certain magical index/scientific railgun, and It never hurts to watch Ghost in the Shell again.

Watch Shingeki no Kyojin if you haven't aka Attack on Titan. Right now, I can safely say it's the best manga I've read/anime series I've watched so far, and likely will remain this way for a long time. You will not regret it.

That's a possibility, never seen Amagami though

I've heard so many people saying this, I feel like I really should watch Attack on Titan. The only problem is that I'm more of a comedy, slice of life, moe and romance fan so I'm not much for action and stuff like that. I should at least give it a try though

By the way, has anyone here seen Clannad yet? I'm planning on watching it, but I just wanted to know others thoughts about it. Is it worth watching?

Well.....Amagami's crap anyways so you're not missing out of very much there.

SnK's a lot more dramatic than action-oriented, although the action isn't missing as you'd expect of a show where humans are fighting mostly brainless, immortal giants. It's a grand read, and for me to say it exceeds both Avatar and Magi by leaps and bounds speaks for itself.

Never watched Clannad and tbh, I'm not particularly inclined to.

Bingo, its a twelve episode series that works out like this: Eps 1+2 introduce all the characters and establish the story, eps 3+4 are the first girls route. Episode 5 jumps back to episode 2 briefly to veer off onto another girls route which continues to episode 6. Episode 7 jumps back again to the end of episode 1 and starts a third girls route for episodes 8+9. Lastly, eps. 10, 11 and 12 are the final route.

I just got an anime called Utawarerumono. I find most of my anime through AMVs and I found this particular anime here:

I'm three episodes in and so far it's fairly standard, nothing special has happened yet and from what I've read this is just one of those anime that's well-rounded but nothing in particular stands out. I'm okay with that if it turns out to be true.

I also have Black Cat on the way. Read a few chapters of the manga and loved what I read so now I'm getting the anime.

One of the characters who is seemingly important to the anime though we don't know how yet is a girl named Eluluu. Such a pretty name and it fits her quite well:

Phew. Seven episodes into Utawarerumono and the first story arc is already over. That escalated rather quickly but it got real good real fast. They spent like three episodes getting the setting all set up and introducing characters and then the next for were a whirlwind. So far, definitely a worthy purchase. At first they didn't really have any voice actors I knew except Greg Ayres but then Monica Rial and Vic Mignogna appear. They kinda do this awkward thing where they switch from traditional animation for close ups and CGI animation for large scale battles but it doesn't look too weird for the most part, it's just that it's noticeable.

I just finished Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Honestly, I'm impressed. When watching the first few minutes, I was thinking it was going to be another generic Rom-Com anime, however, I was really surprised. It managed to stray away from the norm and become something really unique. I'd recommend it. One of my favourites of last season.

That is one hell of a name. The character designs look pretty good at least. I looked it up to see if it was dubbed but all I see is that it was released in the US by Crunchyroll but no English voice actors. Is this correct? If so that means there's almost no chance of a dub so I'll have to settle on the subbed version if I ever get around to watching it. Sadface.

I just finished Utawarerumono. As I said above it started out really standard, nothing special with a very unoriginal-looking setting but that quickly changed. Things heated up, the story got deeper and the animations got better. Eventually they started throwing curveballs at me and by the end they threw a gigantinormous, out-of-nowhere plot point at me that changed nearly everything. They wrapped things up fairly well in the end and there was only two things they didn't explain very well, one of which is acceptable since it's easy to speculate about, but the other, while small, just kinda came out of nowhere and they never actually explained it. At least it doesn't impact the whole story. On the whole I would recommend the series to anyone easy.

Now I'm watching Cromartie High School which showed me it had an amazing voice cast from the start.

I forgot that anime! I read one of the manga books, and it is damned funny. It's one of those shows where you can turn your brain off for half an hour! I love how the collective IQ of the entire school is that of a rock!

Love anime so much! Favorites are Inuyasha, especially since when they dubbed it they didn't change the story. I also love Yu-Gi-Oh manga better because the story was way more intense than when they dumbed it down for kids. Pokemon has always been a plus. Cowboy Bebop is one of the first I ever read/watched. Oh and Fruits Basket my cat is an orange tabby named in honor of Kyo.

The art and character design in Yahari isn't really all that. The thing I really like about it is the character development and interactions. They're pretty cool and funny. It's also interesting to see how the protagonist handles different situations in ways that those in regular rom-coms would avoid at all costs. It's just very different. And yes, I'm not sure if there will be a dubbed, but since it's only from last season, I think you have to wait a while for if there will ever be one.

Only if you like being depressed.

I watched it a few years ago. Now that I think about it, it may not be as good as I gave it credit for...

I remember crying my eyes out, but it might have been just a wannabe deep story with some sad elements that I fell for like a derpy kid.

I'd say it's worth watching based off how much I liked it before, but idunno.

If you don't cry at the story, you'll cry at every character being reskinned because Kyoani is lazy af.

Well they certainly look decent enough to me. Half the time all it takes is an interesting looking character to make me wanna watch an anime. The only anime that wasn't really all that good based on the opening was Green Green. (Dear lord, if you value your brain cells, which I don't obviously, don't watch Green Green.)

I don't watch many anime's but I'm planning to watch more.

I've watched Ouran Highschool Host Club but I'm planning on watching Fruits Baskets, Sailor Moon, Puella Magi, Death Note and Black Butler.

All great choices. (Except Puella Magi which I've never seen)

I would highly recommend Love Hina and Negima based on these choices. Ken Akamatsu, the guy behind the original manga for both of these series', was a genius. Negima actually doesn't follow the manga as closely and has two different anime, each with different things from the manga but mostly original stuff. I've yet to see the second anime so don't quote me on that one but from what I've seen it's totally different from both the manga and the first anime.

It seems to be easy to make me cry these days so I'd probably break out in tears! laugh.png

Some anime have made me tear up some but the only anime that had me bawling was Wolf's Rain. Damn that's a great anime.

I have currently been getting into Sankera as of recently. I don't know why but a romantic comedy about zombies just makes me all pumped.

Zombie zombie zombie Loving

I don't always watch anime.

But when I do, I watch Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop.

Seriously though, those two anime (animes?) are my favorites. Especially Bebop....

You gotta love a show that makes a John Woo reference. img-1615883-1-wub.png

They need to make a parody episode of bebop where every action scene cuts away to Woo's tradmark Pideons flying away. Just none stop Birds flying through the sky.

my favorite anime are the fate series and the sword art online series and am trying to watch my little sister cant be this cute  ( its fucking weird)

You spelled awesome wrong, the correct phrases is that My little sister can't be that cute is awesome.  Trust me the series is really really good with a deep meaning and alot of really really awkward moments.

My favourite anime is a bit oscure. Medabots has to be my favourite anime, I loved the humour when I was a kid, I enjoyed the action-packed robattles and Mr. Referee is still one of my favourte characters ever. Also, he has a freaking blowdart tranquilizer from space that he can use for self defense! How awesome is that?

OMG I loved metabot when it came out. Those old shows of that time were amazing. Thats around the time pokemon was big and digimon. I miss that old stuff.

I've watched some anime through my days, and I have to say Gurren Lagann is by far my favorite. Pure manly action. Clannad and Monster are two of my other favorites. Neon Genesis got me in to anime (although I prefer the manga), and I loved the concept, but I hated the characters. Haruhi Suzumiya is also extremely good (especially Disappearance).

I always thought that Code Geass was way overrated and Death Note is just damn stupid. FMA Brotherhood is another good series (the first anime is only so so), as is Soul Eater. Elfen Lied is good, but the ending's pretty awful. Gundam is another series I think isn't that interesting. G Gundam is good, though.
