spoiler Did Mud Briar just destroy your Maud ship?

Because he certainly killed mine. I could totally understand how Pinkie felt about him. I mean, FUCK.

Mud might seem like a perfect match for Maud, but they're so similar to each other, he might as well be her long lost brother instead.

Inky Rose is almost as socially inept, and the contrast is way more interesting. She would have been the best partner for Maud if you ask me.

Not for me as I didn't have her shipped with anyone. Though I felt a vague sense of mass disturbance the moment Maud uttered "boyfriend".

No. Because it's unfair to hate on a character just because they "stand in the way of your One True Pairing".

So you not hating on a character means your ship is still floating, even though he just killed it?

Yeah, that makes sense......

Why would it? Canon doesn't determine my shipping preferences.

Maudburst FTW! ^_^

I agree that Canon shouldn't determine your shipping preferences. I'm just saying that hating on a character solely because he "sunk your One True Ship" sounds petty.

A Dragon as big as his love for Disney and has his head in the clouds literally and figuratively

If I judged a character solely on that, I'd likely miss out on quite a few good characters.

Not in the slightest. The cool thing about being a viewer of something is that I don't have to do the work of writing the stories, I can just sit back and relax and experience them as they unfold. ;)

Not really. I was kinda surprised that they gave her a romantic partner at all.

Yeah, this will probably kill the MaudTrix ship, but I never quite got how that one got started in the first place.

I have nothing against Mud Briar on his own, but to be honest I'm not feeling any chemistry at all between him and Maud. I'm not saying sparks have to fly (cuz I don't know if Maud can generate that kind of energy) but there should be some kind of click and I'm just not feeling it.

Similarities in personality has nothing to do with being siblings or related. Heck, all of her siblings are pretty different from each other (Maud is the stoic, Pinkie is the overly happy one, Limestone is the grump, and Marble is the shy wallflower).
