Did "The Last Problem" pretty much confirmed that SoarinDash isn't canon? The episode shows the future, and it doesn't show anything at all to hint that Rainbow Dash and Soarin got together. The episode however showed that Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich were married now, and they now have a child. So how come they show Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich as a couple, but not Rainbow Dash and Soarin too?

Not only that but it implied that Rainbow Dash and Applejack became a couple.  Which I honestly didn't see coming.  If anything I would have thought Applejack and Rarity would have been instead.

It's only IMPLIED that AppleDash is Canon. Not confirmed.

Word of God from Jim Miller states certain things in the finale were left ambiguous for fans to debate about.

So if you really want Soarin' and Rainbow, then just imagine they're a couple and Rainbow and AJ simply "carpooled" as friends.

Yea definitely glad soarindash was not included at all XD XD but that's me. 

However, I did find Appledash to be distracting if anything cuz there was 0 buildup to that and definitely negligible dynamic between the both characters, especially considering their last episode together was "Non-complete clause" and they pretty much hated each other's guts. 

Hopefully the season 10 comics showcase them getting together. 

(Personally I would have preferred Rainbow Dash to remain aromantic)

Other then pinkie x cheese(for the main characters at least) the other couples are implied, you can take it whatever way you like. Even though I ship AJ and RD, I am not sure I can really take it canonically.

I didn't really ever saw the AppleDash pairing in the series, ever. It's a product of the fandom's wishful desires that sometimes blinds them from what is really presented. So for me they are just best friends with no romantic intentions. And in that sense, Rainbow can have a relationship with anyone mare or stallion, or any other race for that matter.

If you take the explanation that something is canonical if it is explicit, what he says is true. But then we start arguing about meanings. Even if they flat out pulled a Cheese Sandwich with RD, nothing would stop the fandom from shipping the characters with whoever they want.

There's no confirmation of a romantic relationship between them during the series, it's as simple as that.

For that matter, neither one of them is confirmed to be in any romantic relationship, so I don't think that's a huge deal for SoarinDash shippers who want to headcanon that they're an item.

Now, even when you may ship characters in another canon relationships, there's always AU's to wonder about. IMO shipping is about feeling good with the characters you like, so no one can tell you if a ship is wrong.

Canon is not everything when you feel good about shipping a pair (or even a group) of characters.

soarindash is a pairing made by fans and all the time it was friendship between them, there is no hints  between them  and never happend because it is not a real relationship and you don't even listening. The writers do not support any ship, you do not claim them as a couple because in reality it never was.  don't pretend them

Also, in season one it was established that Applejack has a bad habit of taking on ALL responsibilities onto herself due to pride, and all her friends had to help her after she exhausted herself.

So while it is absolutely shipping fuel, it is not a confirmation, and can be interpreted as Rainbow telling one of her best friends that everyone would benefit from her learning to accept help once in a while.

You can interpret it however you want, but don’t go around foisting it on other fans.

I see very little room to doubt they live together and AJ's normal pride being why she does all the chores around the house. Rainbow dash didn't say 
"If you just let me do YOUR chores" She said "THE" chores which means they share the same responsibilities around the house. They are shipped confirmed.

This is why the show staff made sure that the epilogue was filled with many unanswered questions so as to allow the fans to come up with their own conclusion. The correct term here is ambiguous but you get the point. If you believe certain characters end up together but it wasn't actually seen, then who is to say that it didn't happen? Everyone is going to have their own ideas here resulting in discussions just like this one.

Soarindash is fake ship. That was never a relationship. Spitfire and Soarin were together for a long time when Reainbow Dash began to admire them and all the skills they showed them gained their trust. Wonderbotls are her best friends and tutors, never a love interest. That is why this relationship is not official, it is made by fans. Rainbow dash and Applejack are together and that is confirmed at the end.
