I was looking through the YouTube comments on the "Fluttershy Yay" video when I saw a hate comment. Honestly... don't antibronies have something better to do with their time.

What on earth do they think they'll get out of posting silly hate comments on YouTube.

I laugh at their attempts to bother the Brony community.

People like this are pathetic with a capital "P".

Well... the amusement or sense of superiority of bringing out the worst in people. And really, there are bronies out there who fall for it. Given that many bronies, possibly half of them, are teenagers who are inexperienced and have a lot to learn, they often fly into it head-on.

Yeah, ignoring them is the best thing to do. Haters are bullies, and what they are doing is what bullies do, they are trying to get a rise out of you. If you continue to not let their words affect you, that means that they lose. Sometimes it's hard to ignore them, believe me I know, but , just remember its them who have no lives, instead of finding something they enjoy, what gives them pleasure is getting a rise out of people that are into a sort of thing, that they can't stand.

Hey all, 

 

I felt bored and rather than being like a normal kid and - oh I dunno, riding a bike or summut; I decided to post on here! 

 

After pondering for 15 minutes, I decided to create this thread. How to deal with brony haters. If possible you should just ignore them, but sometimes you just gotta say something...

 

My motto towards them is: "They think I'm Immature for watching MLP? Then Surely they cannot accept it and are furthermore more immature than I. "

 

I copy pasted that from my Steam feed, and for some reason it stayed black, weird but oh well   .

I haven't come out of the closet yet, but when I do i'll be armed with that phrase. And I'll retaliate with it to everyone, even to parents if need be.

 

 How do YOU deal with haters?

I've yet to only encounter online haters, which leaves me restricted as to my options. If I had a hater in public, it would depend on the situation, but more than likely I'd just smile and walk away. I have long hair and tattoos, lots of them so you don't expect someone like me to be a Brony anyway. The fact that I'd smile and just walk away would tell that person IDGAF. Which I don't, and neither should you. 

Life is way to short to care what other people think.

I really don't give a single flying feather about what people say to me about my pony thing. Hell, my friends all had different reactions.

It really doesn't bother me. If people want to waste their time telling me how much they hate MLP, that's obviously their problem, not mine. I'd like to say that I told my friends with some witty joke, but I really just don't care at all.

I did meet a hater, but I really just don't care at all. I basically mocked him, "Oh, you don't want to watch a show about ... poniiies?" and said the ponies part in a mock little girl voice.

 

I have my own fun with it; that's how I deal with haters. Not on the Internet, though. That doesn't work the same as in real life.

I don't think it is at all necessary to deal with those who dislike you for your interests; after all, ignoring them saves a lot of unnecessary trouble.

 

If you must interact with somebody like that for one reason or another, it's best to stay off that particular subject.
