Since Rarity has shown the most interest in romance and her crush was in fact a guy (Prince Blueblood) I think she is probably the least likely to be a lesbian, it is possible she might be bi though I think Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash would be a bit more likely to fall under that category.

 

Since I am here, I have been writing this one fanfic starring Rarity which actually has sort of forced me to see things a bit more from her point of view and has made me start to like her a bit more which has made her go up in my favorite pony list. The story is called Rarity Gets Cockroaches which was inspired by a nasty cockroach problem I got thanks to some messy neighbors, you can see the story here.

I am about 125% sure with all the evidence and stuffz, that she is indeed bi. I think Blue Blood may have something to do with that. 

@@Rarity_Sts, to me it sounds like you want her to be a lesbian and that's not fair, if it were by our fandom, all the ponies would be lesbians already. The closest of having a relationship with the opposite gender was Rarity, when she showed interest in Prince Blueblood (eeck!) in season 1. But sexuality is not anything that should concerns us regarding the show, it's obviously something not explored there.

Tabitha meant that Rarity appearance in the show is not focused on dating other ponies, which makes sense, because the show is targeted to little girls and on top of that is about friendship not dating. Not focusing Rarity to have interestt in dating other "male" ponies  doesn't mean that she's lesbian or bisexual.

Yeah, But I doubt the voice actor has much control of the character itself due to licensing rights owned by HASBRO. They along with the head control people and people in character development are in charge of Rarity's sexuality. So since the show has only show two ponies who have indeed confirmed they're preference (Rarity in Blueblood since the her whole reason in going to the gala was to fall in love with Blueblood, and Twilight (Her interest is confirmed in the Equestria girls movie). I'm thinking they were just saying that the ponies aren't supposed to be obsessed with boys but in building friendships. They don't want little girls focusing on such things yet due to the targeted age groups.

Rarity is in no way a Lesbian. If you payed attention throughout the series, you can clearly see she has had interest with stallions.

Unless Hasbro themselves officially say she is a lesbian (which is very unlikely for them to talk about sexuality in a kids show), I will not by any means believe or even suspect her to be one.

 

I've heard lots of bull shit like Equestria being full of lesbians. The rainbowsash fluttershy thing ugh it goes on and on.

Even still if she did mean it that way, which I don't think she did, it's a tweet from the voice actor not the writers. I'd take it with a grain of salt.

I'd have no problem with Rarity being gay, but realistically I think she's the least likely of the Mane 6 to go that way. I see her as straight, by default, even though some of her best fics have her shipped with other mares.

My Little Pony is supposed to show little girls about friendship and how important it is. Romance has very little to do on this topic. Yes there has been some romance in some episodes but notice how it never went into too much detail because again, it's not the purpose of the show.

Based on the latest descriptions from some of the upcoming episodes. it looks like we're now going to have at least 37 straight episodes without Rarity focus, dating back to Sweet and Elite.

 

Since then, by my count we've had 9.5 Twilight episodes (.5 being MMMystery on the Friendship Express, which she shared with pinkie pie), 3.5 Pinkie Pie episodes, 3.5 Applejack episodes (.5 being Spike at Your Service) 2 Rainbow Dash episodes, and 3 Fluttershy episodes. 

 

And that's not including the upcoming ones. Rarity episodes in the next four as far as I can tell.

 

Seriously, they owe her.
