ABOUT TIME THIS THREAD WAS MADE!

 

Trixieism is a great movement devoted not only to Trixie, but also to her ideals, including, but not limited to:

 

*Trixie

*Trixie

*Trixie

But what is it?  Is it a political ideology?  A philosophy?  A religion?  A thing?  None of these!  It is a Trixie.  Cultershy can praise Lord Smooze, a supposed “deity” who has no physical presence.  Celestia claims to be a monarch but has no clear legitimacy.  Equestria’s pure harmony at the price of freedom seems somewhat dystopic at second glance.  What is certain in the world then? Trixie!

 

All other ponies seem to place their identities outside of themselves, in Equestria, networks of friends, families, towns, etc.  Equestria is a land that needs individuals.  The country is an absolutist monarchy, ponies never question the status quo, and even the movement of clouds is controlled.  But then there is Trixie.  She moves her cart around, caring not for social institutions or customs, and in doing so defies the world.  Should the world be defied?  That doesn't matter.  Her defiance is good in itself.  She shakes the unquestioned, encouraging ponies to question those values that they had been forced to accept.  Trixie represents, Trixie is, so much.  Some mock this thread, but Trixieism is a perfectly reasonable position when faced with Equestria.

 

My Trixie display name has been Trixied in honor of this Trixying event.

 

PS: I’m not sure, but I am seriously considering writing a half-joking, half-serious parody of a certain famous political work in the style of Trixieism.  Would people like to see this?

Twilight proved that Trixie was possessed by, in effect, a demonic spirit.  Once evil artifact is gone and said spirit with it, Trixie is no threat whatsoever and has no intentions of ill doing.

Ermahgerd.  I've watched the "Spanish Inquisition" sketch so many times and never before noticed a similarity.

 

Well, let's look to see if there are similarities!

 

*Surprise (Trixie threads pop up everywhere)

*Fear (she inspires it!)

*Ruthless efficiency (we're more organized than other fanclubs)

*An almost fanatical devotion to Trixie (true dat)

*Nice red uniforms (oh yes)

 

All those things go for the Mythic Dawn too, if you substitute "Mehrunes Dagon" for "Trixie"...

 

TRIXIEISTS!  I know some historical precedent we should base our operations on!

 

Or, with our focus on magic, are we the Order of the Black Worm?  Hmm, we may have to dye our uniforms black.
