Prince Blueblood: Your thoughts on his Future and past and role as a Antagonist

Before I say Anything I would like to say That This is a different Threads than My other threads about him. This is about His Future Roles as A Villain In MLP FIM.

 

Now you might say To Yourself "Why Would He be a Villain?". Well let me explain it to you Bob the averege User On MLP Forums.

As We could See from His former Apperance in The Best Night Ever That He Takes Pride in being a royalty, Making it a Lifestyle than a simple Title. So If he takes So Much Pride in it he must care For the reputation Of both himself and The other royaltys, And Let us Face it, Celestia And Cakes and Luna Not knowing the norms of Equestria Yet Must give him a Hard time. And Now With Twilight Becoming a Princess There are two ways he would feel about this and each of them has a Role of its own:

 

*If he was a Pro Twilicorn:Then He would Most Likely Try to Marry Twilight so He could Raise His Social Status, But we all Know that he is gonna Get Rejected Then He would become a Ponified Gaston And ALways Try to make Twilight marry him and always Either get rejected by her or Get Blocked By Rarity Or Shining Armour and It would become a Comedy gag Everytime The Mane Six goes to Canterlot.

 

*If He was a Anti Twilicorn: Then He would Try as Much as he can to Convince His Aunts and the High Status Ponies that this is a Bad Idea and He would Team Up With Discord or some Ponies to Do Funny Videos and Photos To Mock Twilight and try to Break Her into giving up her wings. In the end He fails and he Becomes a Neutral Character who Hates The Mane Six and always Picks on them with Name Callings.

 

So Do you think That He should be putten In One of these Roles, Would you like him better if they did, Or should they Just Take Him Off completly From the show and never make him return. Comment and answer

I don't think that Discord would ever agree to work with him; more than likely, the master of chaos would use Blueblood as his personal Butt Monkey.

I can maybe see him a small role, or maybe a humorous cameo, but to the degree of Trixie's return or Gilda's inevitable return, I don't think he's inherently interesting enough to warrant that. Trixie and Gilda have a personality to build off of and there's enough implications with their characters that could expand upon them. Blueblood was just written to annoy Rarity for twenty minutes.

I do hope to see him explained though. How is he a prince? What is his relation to the Princesses?

But as an villain/antagonist: Yes.

 

I think having a royal prince as a villain in a monarchy kingdom society, could really be a good improvement to Prince Blueblood, so he could really be known as something other than a royal pain.

There never seems to be anything genuinely wrong within the main cities themselves. It always seem to come from outside, like a changeling swarm suddenly zooming in, or an invasion out of nowhere like Sombra or Nightmare Moon. It would be pretty awesome if, for one time, the villain was actually already an established member of the place or regime they were opposing. Prince Blueblood would be one of the first people that the writers would have in mind for something like that - it'd be a real twist.

 

The only problem is that he'd have to take on some form that isn't him - if he is Celestia's nephew, then Celestia would almost definitely be stronger than him in regards to magical ability. I reckon pre-alicorn Twilight could have taken him down. Maybe he could find something similar to the Alicorn Amulet?

Oh, man, I want him back so badly. He had such a small role for such an awesome character. However, I don't want him as a villain, because it's gonna generate more hatred for one of the best characters in the show. So I'd like, as many others would, to see his backstory; he's either Luna or Celestia's nephew, correct? So when did either of the Princesses have a kid, since it's deffo not Candence's? And why does he never show up again except a few brief cameos? (I know there was one in Best Episode [aka Sweet and Elite] but not sure about others.)

I think that Prince Blueblood was probably just a one-time thing.

 

However, wouldn't it be great to have an episode where Blueblood seeks out Rarity and begs for forgiveness and almost gets her into an arranged marriage until Rarity realizes that he's just using her to gain connections and storms out of the wedding?

I don't know. Maybe. I mean they could probably do some interesting character stuff with him. Maybe show a deeper side to his character underneath the his rude outward demeanor.

I don't think Blue Blood well come back. If he did come back he would probably just be in the background doing nothing. In Sweet and Elite he was in the background. He was there because he is just a follower of what is popular. He probably also does not do or has any say in Canterlot.

 

As for a villain he just does not seem to have what it takes to do that. If they go with the name calling then he's not being a villain, PB is just being an annoying character and well be hated even more.

 

So just keep him in the background.

You guys lack imagination , blueblood is pretty much the scar of mlp. Just not evil , both are weak compared to the other males, both are feminine to a point, both expect Females to do stuff for them, but how come scar is liked while BB is hated?

That being said, Scar is ridiculously overrated. Zira was a much better antagonist.

You misunderstood me, i dint say why is scar liked and blueblood not. i meant that how come alot said that cannot be a serious threat when scar/frollo/Gaston became serious threats with tactics, Why cant the Prince do the same

I think Blueblood should definitely return as an antagonist! Maybe like Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones! Snooty AND evil would suit Blueblood perfectly!

I would rather him be eaten alive by changeling's than see him in future episodes. He's probably the only character I really don't like. He's has no respect for anyone and I feel as though any kindness given towards others from him would be for his own personally gain in the future. Trixie was rude but only because she didn't know any better. Blueblood is just a right prick, I couldn't see him turn good with all the magic in Equestria. 

 

Anyway. That's an exaggerated paragraph on how I feel. I'm truly not that concerned with him at all and it wouldn't really bother me if he did make some kind of return in season 4 or later. I just don't like his personality very much.
