What do you do when you're bored?

Since I'm bored, (( The irony! )) what do you guys do when you're bored and have nothing to do? Is there something you do all day? 

 

Usually, I just talk to my friends on the Forums.

I usually just draw or google strange things or things I was curious about. Like the other day, my friend told me about this Tiarawhy person and- well, I'd rather not go over that.

Other than that, I'll usually reread some of my books or try to finish new ones.

On a really boring day, I'll troll people on another forum I go on.

I tend to browse the web. I'll go to one of the two forums I most frequently...er, frequent and check if any of the threads which I follow have been updated. Then I'll go to the other. If I'm desperate, then I'll start browsing to see whether any interesting new threads have been posted. If I'm really desperate, I'll start browsing other forums or checking my RSS feeds.

 

That usually holds me just fine.

Nothing. I sit there and stare at a wall trying to think of something interesting to do. xD But that thing usually ends up being to play video games...even though that's exactly what I got bored of doing.

I'm pretty much bored all the time ><; So I usually end up sitting here and refreshing the forum. Maybe I do some bead art, maybe I draw... If I don't feel like any of those. I just go and play some NES.

When I'm bored, I do a number of things to kill time. I browse the forums for any interesting topics to post in, listen to music, or play some games. Mostly browsing the forums and playing games though, at the same time.

Nah, "seriously":

 

-Playing some new games or some I didn't play in a while.

 

-Read fanfics or a book.

 

-Watch TV-shows I didn't watch yet or rewatch some older ones.

 

-Listen to music and browse for random stuff on the internet.

 

But the best thing of all is...

To go outside! Get some fresh air and maybe meet someone I know.

Thank you to the internet, I have a few back up plans for when I happen to get bored

 

Plan A. Assuming no one is really on Skype to talk to, i generally find a Podcast to listen to (RTP/PKA/TNYWC and a few more) then if they're a simple audio podcast with no video i'll play either MC or CoD and listen.

 

Plan B. YouTube is a wonderful place that's dedicated their selves to help with this very issue, I watch things from technology news to prison documentaries to documentations about mystical animals. 

 

Plan C. Retro gaming, with nothing else to do, no Anime you want to watch and no one to talk to, it's always good to get that nostalgic hit from a retro game/console like Zelda/Mario/Breakout on the NES or N64

 

Oh also, there are alot of good free games, also cheap games on Steam, that's always something to do ^-^ But yeah that's what I do when I get bored, which thank you to technology, isn't very often.

Anyway... When I'm bored, I usually play video games and browse random videos on YouTube. Like most people, I also tend to eat a lot when I'm bored.

 

I also use my imagination a lot more whenever I'm bored/tired, so I sometimes start creating OC's, fanfics and whatnot in my head. xD

What do I do when I get bored?

 

Usually I start doing any one of these things: Writing short stories about random subjects, mucking around the internet (youtube, humor blogs, tumblr, imageboards, wikia sites, forums, roleplaying), playing one of the games I have in my emulator, eat shiny things, visit my friends who lived around here, planning my next phase of total inter-dimensional domination, or jaywalking around the block.

i come onto the forums if not i just play alot of fallout new Vegas that game is addicting if i cant do either (i tend to get banned alot and my fps is really bad) i just go find anti-bornys and make them as mad as i possibly can its fun watching them rage.

Read a lot of reddit and these forums, providing that I don't have other things to read like magazines or I've already read a fair amount of my bible ect.

I browse the forums, play video games, talk to people on skype, do chores, practice my trumpet, draw pony art, watch youtube videos, sing along to songs, do random research, whether it be video game related, or whatever i'm curious about. Maybe ocasionally I read some fanfics. Or watch MLP episodes or Pokemon episodes.

Bored at work: I read the magazines that are conveniently located at each register... Much to the dismay of my supervisors.. but hey.. I make sure my areas clean first XD.

 

Bored at home: I break out the old faithful N64... or watch Netflix... of go for a walk..... or punch a rolled up exercise mat for hours on end... just whatever im in the mood for...

Browse the net randomly, play video games, listen to music, sing random things, be depressed since boredom really fuels it for me, do graphic stuff, watch random videos, eat (I eat a lot when I am bored/depressed), and overall just think about things that I wish were true or just fantasize about a better but nonexistent me, usually in the form of a totally different person. That usually is combined with listening to music. I would write, but my writing abilities are not very good. Of course there are many things I would do if I had the ability, since I have a lot of free time..
