Seriously MLP Forums, I almost went outside today. This hiatus is driving me insane and I know I can't be the only one. How are we supposed to make it to OCTOBER. 

 

I'd have to say the exact moment we officially ran out of content to post was with this topic.

Season 3's wait was unbearable.  They would do nothing but tease us with dates where they release the release date of the season.  To top it, we knew it was going to be 13 episodes.  This one is though too.  For the content, people like to post weird stuff all year long so I don't know if it's weirder now.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine, so, forgive me

 

There's a fandom literally as big as this planet, with fanfics, breathtaking art, PMV's, original animations, interviews from social networking sites, fan games, streams, and just about any other concept imaginable, all coming out each and every day, and all you can do is sit on the curb outside and impatiently wait for S4?

 

One day the show will be over, and you'll either need to adapt to thriving off fandom content, or start to lose touch with this fandom and its' richness slowly but surely :3 Better learn to swim in the fandom's vast oceans sooner than later, friend, because when the time comes, what you're feeling now will be multiplied by several times when it does come to a conclusion~

As CD said, either thrive off of fan content or just be bored. Eventually, season 4 will come out, and hopefully there'll be a next generation then it'll respark things.

Give me one week and I can throw out many topics at the speed of the Flash. Also, complaining isn't going to do anything. If you feel we are running out of content, why don't you help fix this problem instead of complaining? Just saying.

Join a project! Learn to draw, animate, program... there's nothing that this community doesn't do these days. Pick a skill, learn it and hop on a group doing something that interests you.

 

There's a wonderful opportunity right now for every single Brony in this fandom to join a group. Most are welcoming, patient, and filled with talented people to learn from. The chances of you succeeding with these groups are much higher than if not for Ponies - as it is almost guaranteed you will share a similar interest as every other member.

We're not running out of content, people are just getting to lazy to find it. I can go FiMfic any given day and my reading list gets even bigger.

Wow. I can only second what @~Chaotic Discord~ said-There is a ton of content out there, even for MLP purists who dont like Equestria Girls. There's fan art, show discussion of every sort and a general attitude of friendship in the ever expanding fandom.

 

Of course the show is a big part of the fandom-but i'd say that it's also grown beyond the sum of it's parts if you would only look outside of your seemingly pretty narrow focus.

People worry about this stuff way too much, lulls between seasons will happen but the great thing about this fandom is that there is an unbelievable amount of fanworks which makes waits quite a bit easier and of course there are plenty of other things to do. I am really looking foward to tomorrow night because they are going to have this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles special where the krang are going to invade earth. I just got Tales of Xillia at Gamestop the other day and will have some time to play it tomorrow, and of course there are numerous other things as well.

Eh, i don't find that there is nothing to do, or even that much of a lack of content.. Well theres a bit but i mean its not total lack.

 

Atleast not to me.

 

And besides that, there is plenty of stuff within the fandom to enjoy, fanfics, pmv's, animations, parodies, abridged series, art, music, other random pony related videos, lets watches, re watching the series, drawing your own art, doing your own music, animations, ect ect ect.

 

Then theres always all the non pony stuff left to do if you want. 

 

Throw in what does happen here and i'd say theres a good bit, I try and almost tune out the thought of S4 till it comes out, in order to not kill myself in the hype of waiting.

 

I don't post a whole lot of topics to be fair, but mostly because i'm not exactly the most amazingly creative person ever .

Meh. There's plenty of poop for us to talk about around here while we wait, but it still doesn't change the fact that this wait sucks pretty hard. I was thinking about posting a topic but then i realized my idea was a pretty lame.

Waiting does suck, since instead of 7 months, it's 9 months this time.

Well oddly its October and its still here... but anyway. Yeah we are running out of topics here I try like hell to make new ones but most of the time no one says anything or if they do it has noting to do with what I'm trying to say or even ask them... which is always nice..

Nope, I've not talked MLP on this site for a few months now actually.

 

You should only talk MLP when there's actually something to discuss.

That's the main thing with a lot of threads here, even in the off topic sections, there is no discussion point. In other forums I join in they lock threads for if they've not got a good discussion point or if it's a horrible thread - I guess I should suggest this more formally to implement it.

 

I will say though there are still some really nice threads popping up from time to time, even now (as well as the MLP sections), we aren't running out of content - we're just making silly threads.

 

Silly threads aren't bad, mind you. It's hilarious sometimes trying to see the OP trying to keep the discussion alive by continually saying the same point which has been ripped apart just under 98 times already. Or even finishing off the discussion in one post. It should test your foruming skills hehe.

The reason I stopped posting there was all the silly analysations. Mainly because it's a children's show and the analysation should be pretty straightforward in terms of story and character which people seem to love to go far and beyond with. Especially with characters. "Why is Gildo so hated?" - Because she was a character made to be hated :I I've not looked much but I guess it'd be funny to make a list of these sort of threads ^-^ they amuse me.

Well I think we ran out of interesting show topics probably somewhere in July or August. But we still have plenty of fan content to talk about. But I agree it is getting pretty boring around here without much to talk about in the show that we haven't already discussed to death.
