Ponies arriving on Earth, no war blah blah blah, but there is still racism.

 

In fact there's small groups of racist people that literally gather together to kill Ponies moving into their neighborhood. 

 

An angry mob of violent racists approaches you wanting you join in "Killing the Pony freaks and Pony lovers moving in on their neighborhood.", aka a Pony family and Humans dating Ponies. (Think, Mass Effect Shepard is dating sapient aliens: Xenophilia.) 

 

What do you do?

 

(Lie) Say you'll join them, but in fact call the police (police with both Humans and Ponies.) on them?

 

Edit Note: (Why did I even make this an option?) Join in on the angry mob to kill the new family of Ponies and Pony lovers?

Actually, my real course of action would be to run away as fast as my legs could take me. I wouldn't want to affiliate myself with a group of that nature at all and "temporarily joining" may cause a fair bit of harm as well.

I would just try to avoid them without giving evidence of how I'm a brony, and call the police.

 

I would not attempt to disguise myself as one of them in case they turn out to have a special code or entry pass. Just go on the neutral side, and call them coppers.

 

And after that, run away to Canada.

Shelter the Ponies and send the mob on a wild goose chase. Set up a network for the protection of Ponies and Pony lovers (or join one if it already exists). Keep militant racists busy while working towards Pony equality. There will always be racism and hate (why can't humans be more like ponies?), but we can work towards legal protection and equal rights.

Well.... if ponies arrived, I would immediately seek to set booby traps. The average intelligence of a mob is the is the IQ of its most stupid member divided by the number of mobsters. So I'm really doing the world a favour by getting rid of these guys.

JK, I'd probably not join the mob, but I wouldn't call the police either. Instead, I'd call up the local ponies and urge them to take arms against the mob, then if I was successful in convincing them, I'd videotape the battle and post it on YouTube. Hopefully, it would start a pony civil rights movement, and then I'd become famous for starting it all.

I would fall under the "other" category. I would tell them I have no interest in aiding their cause and then would immediately go about arranging an anti-fa (anti fascist) gathering to "sort out" the aforementioned mob.

They had laws against it back in each of those cases as well.

And don't let a lull in the years dull you to it, people are very much still capable of these actions.

Many are still trying.

Recent attempts would be the Taliban's attacks, Sryia's attack on its own people, etc...

Maybe less racially fueled on the second, but Human nature is to fear that which is different from itself, or would try to take the power that they have..

And as such people will always try to destroy that which they fear.
