Has anyone ever had you do something that you didn't feel safe doing?

Like today for instance me and my uncle managed to get the tractor stuck in a hole, so he had me drive the tandem truck to pull er out, thing is there were only two of us, so he had me romp on the gas in reverse while he tried to get the tractor free, thing is that tandem truck wasn't exactly the most mechanically sound thing in the world, it had an air leak in the break system, so I was afraid that I would start going forward and not be able to stop and smash into the tractor, or worst case kill someone! (my uncle) and keep in mind I haven't drove one of those in my entire life either, so if something would have went wrong, or an air hose would have broke, I would be lost on what to do!

So I am no wimp when it comes to tractors and trucks, thing is I lack experience, which could get someone killed.

So has anything like that ever to you, or have you ever done something that you just COMPLETELY didn't feel safe doing?

Me and some friends were riding around some land of his. He was swerving on the roads, doing about 50-55. I've never felt less safe in a car than that time with that idiot. He almost hit a powerline, so we kinda kicked him out of the driver's seat.

This isn't really the same, but my dad always neglects to put money in the parking meter if he's only away for a short time, and makes me wait in the car in case a meter man/maid comes by. I don't know exactly what he expects me to do if one does. The potential for situations like that just make me really, really anxious. :o

The only one in recent memory was when i was working with my step-dad on a hot water heater and we wound up playing with the gas valves and pilot light. My one thought:

"If we die down here we're spending the rest of entirety with my foot up your ass"

Many times! Like high ropes courses and stuff... I know I'm safe but I have a fear of falling and I had to do a leap of faith and I just did not feel safe at all!

There are many more but I can't remember them all... The fear is too crippling

@@Frostgage,

Actually, they can't ticket you if there's someone in the car as you are 'loading' and not 'parked'. It's an excellent way to game the system, and my family does it too.

Anyway, as for stupid things, my friend decided it would be fun to light a 14 year old firework he found in his garage. I didn't think we were far away enough, but he insisted we were safe... He was right, but it was still terrifying...

Oh more times than I can count.

Well for start, my grandfather "hires" me to clean out houses he buys so that he can fix it up a bit and sell it. Not a big deal, until I had to clean out an old druge/whore house. Damn, this thing had maggots completely covering the inside of the fridge, pills and chemicals all over the place, and I even ran into black mold in the basement. The whole place had an extremely bad odor. We eventually got masks though, but man, that entire house was a major hazard.

Another big one was when a certain valuable object that I can't remember got stuck on top of a flimsy tree as it was super windy that day. I was told to  retrieve it, and man it was kinda scary as I don't have a passion for heights. I swear the tree limbs were going to break and I'd fall and crack my neck. Again though, at my grandparents. I guess I could say I do 90% of my unsafe things at my grandparents, but all in all I guess it's fun in the end as long as no one actually got hurt.

Yes.

I've been forced to climb into a crawl space under a house to re route plumbing, and reinforce the foundation. Dust and insulation filled the air under the house, and I came up sneezing small amounts of blood. After that I was provided with a respirator.... Still didn't feel safe.

Oh yes, I know of these feels as well.

I have a friend, a very dangerous friend.

He drives while completely focusing on his phone.

It's safe to say that I'll never ride with that guy again, don't think I've ever been so freaked out.

Yes, I will have to agree that driving while distracted by anything other than the road in front of you is never really a good idea!

Loads of times hahaaha

I couldn't even name them all

but my boyfriend always tries to get me to do all sorts of ridiculous things

Like one time, he asked me to take him behind petsmart because he heard they throw out perfectly good supplies because of slight damage and wanted to dumpster dive

or another time he got me to walk through a cemetery at night (I was scared because it's supposed to be illegal)

Not sure I ever feel too safe. Especially not when I'm out walking alone.

But I can think of one particular instance where I was scared to death. lol. So I have these friends who are a lot more used to the country. One time I was in the car with one of them, and he was pulling a trailer. He had to take this trailer out to a horse ranch, to bring them hay or something. To get there, we had to pass over a short dirt road, but we were in a smaller car. The road was wet and bumpy.

That's when he did what they call "mudding", and it was like the scariest experience I ever remember having. >.< It felt like we were going to spin and run straight into a pole!

Never again! Even though I'm pretty sure he thought my reaction was hilarious. Because he does it all of the time... But still!

My mom making me play piano. I don't know how but it always ends up in yelling

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia

Pretending I was 8-10 years, even though I was 13 years

Being in an ghetto when I had to wait in the car at night

Being in a car..... With my sister driving me to places I need to go. She is always texting on her phone while driving and swerves all over the place. Almost got hit a couple times.

My friend would drive on the highway with his knees on the wheel while he texted. He thinks he is the smartest person in the world and somehow "knows how to do it."
