There are no specific age or restrictions at all to be a brony. Pretty much, anyone can be a brony. I'd say if you like the show, and well everything that the fandom produces from the show, and like the fandom. I guess you classify as a brony.

As everypony else has said, there really is no age limit on who can be a Brony. In my opinion, if you consider yourself a Brony, you're a Brony. If you don't consider yourself a Brony, you're not.

 

As Diggler brought up, Max, the creator of the .MOV series, doesn't consider himself a Brony, which is fine by me. You are who you want to be, after all.

Yeah, there can't really be a stark boundary for at what age you can be a brony... I say that if you consider yourself to be a brony, you are one (whatever that means).

 

This kinda segues into a different debate: what makes you a brony? I, personally, think that if you are out of the target demographic of the show and you like it and watch it with at least some regularity, you're definitely a brony. Of course, someone within the target demographic can be a brony as well... Like I said, if they consider themselves to be a brony, then they are one.

 

Also, being a part of the community (making art, being on forums such as these, etc.) pretty much makes you a brony in my opinion.
