I am 6'3" and currently 260 pounds.

 

Ten months ago I was 80 pounds heavier, so I'm not too ashamed to post that. I'd like to drop another 80lbs in the coming year.

Wow! Well done :) I need to lose some weight so it's nice hearing from people who have done well :)

I'm 5'9 and 180lbs. I look fine in real life but them i'm seeing these girls saying they're like 5'10 and 120lbs on here and now i feel like crap. Can i cut off my legs? I'd probably only weigh like 20lbs if i did. (I swear, all my weight is from my thighs.)

Send help.

Don't worry about them, you're fine. c: Don't be ashamed of your body. You sound pretty normal to me. :D

5'9" and about 160 lbs. 

 

Everyone expected me to take after my maternal grandfather, who is around 6', but I ended up being only slightly taller than my dad. Sigh. :(

I am 6'1" and 182 pounds (or 185.42 cm and 82.5 kg if you prefer the metric system). I'm trying to get down to a leaner 170-175 pounds. I know that I can get there with hard work, determination, and lots of sweat  :ph34r:

Russian, so I'm rather short and stocky

 

Haven't checked my height since high school and that was some eight years ago and I can still fit in the same clothes I wore

 

Weight tends to hover around 170 and I've been trying to lose it

I'm 5 foot 11 (180cm) & 9 Stone (57kg). Although the last time I checked my weight was a couple of years ago, my body's still the same as it was then, so it might be the same now. :D

I haven't checked, but I am over 6' 2".

 

 

As for weight, I honestly don't remember, but it goes down significantly by the end of summer. After spending 30+ days backpacking on the trails each summer, climbing mountains, fjording rivers, and ascending ridgelines, I loose a ton of weight and gain lots of endurance. :P  Backpacking is like strenuous exercise with a strict 900 calorie-per day diet. You don't need muscle as much as endurance for hiking/backpacking.

 

In some cases, you need to consume over 6,000 calories a day just to stay warm and meet your daily needs (but this only happens on super cold backpacking trips with 4k+ elev. gain a day). Personally, I hate gym exercise but absolutely looove strenuous hiking and outdoor activity, haha. Its a cycle between winter and summer for me.  :squee:
