MLP vs. Godzilla

Which Pony or other Equestrian creature would be best suited to challenge the destroyer of worlds and king of the monsters? And for debates sake, we'll go with the modern version, (just to make it easier on the MLP cast).

Discord might have a shot at slowing him down just cause of his ruthlessly absurd abilities...but I'm still pretty sure that one hit from atomic breath, and the battle would be over. Regardless of who it is, trying to take on Godzilla.

Elements of harmony/Rainbow power would probably do something. If they couldn't use those for some reason, then I don't think they have anything else that could stop him. Stall him maybe, but not stop. Godzilla's the king for a reason.

If Celestia's only weakness is magic stronger than hers, I suppose she wouldn't really have an issue quarantining a beast such as Godzilla. I would call that a defeat.

I'm not so sure the ponies could do a whole lot to Godzilla. Rainbow Power may hurt him, but I'm not sure so friendship magic would destroy a creature from another world. Fluttershy is probably Equestria's best bet against the rampaging monster.

Umm.. as others have already said, I would go with Fluttershy. She might be able to subdue Godzilla and persuade him to go elsewhere. Not to mention she reduced a large dragon to tears! If she can't persuade or subdue Godzilla, she could always try her tough love approach to scare it away

If Godzilla were to be tossed in, he'll come out a SpaceGodzilla.  So pretty much, wouldn't do anything, but make things worse.

Exactly.  That's nuclear fusion right there, which is the deadliest and most destructive thing on Earth, so they can try all they want, but what he "is", is a natural killer.

I mean all logic points to Godzilla absolutely annihilating Equestria and Mothra ruling the Crystal Empire, but since the MLP has a canon Deus Ex Machina it kind of makes it unfair. But granted if we say that the EoH or Rainbow Power is not toally OP I think Godzilla would win. Also since it seems to take the Mane Six ages to actually get the items and usually are allowed that time I don't think Godzilla would just crush them before they had their climactic moment.

Not necessarily. If we're talking showa era 50's-60's Rodan, who could only go past 700 mph, Dashie already has him beat by about 2800 mph. If we're talking hesiei 90's & millennium era Rodan, things would be much closer... until Dashie goes Sonic Rainboom and travels 10x Rodan's speed. In a fight, that might be enough to kill him. Dashie would probably hit with even more force than a rail gun. Besides, Rodan's kind of a wuss. He get's beaten by Godzilla twice and even killed by Mechagodzilla.

Well.............Mothra "is" the queen of monsters, if im not mistaken.    Yet, out of all the monsters, i think Mothra would understand the ponies more than Godzilla.  Look how quickly she defended the humans from enemies (excluding the ones, where her guardians were kidnapped, pissing her off).

True, Rodan was defeated by both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla...........................however, Rodan's normal speed is the speed of sound, which only means, he can go 10x as faster.  (They said in final wars that he hit 7,000 miles an hour).  That said, his "size" matters b/c with his speed, he'll basically kill Rainbow Dash, and along with that...........he's an irradiated pterodactyl, which would be another killer.  If you think about it, he's so fast and powerful that his supersonic speed/waves made planes explode from the sky, ripped homes off their foundations, split bridges in half, send cars flying and slamming into walls, flattening them out.  Even if Rainbow Dash created another Sonic Rainboom,, that still won't surpass Rodan's radiation and power.  Don't forget that when Rainbow Dash made the Sonic Rainboom, it took a while for her to reach Rarity and the Wonderbolts, falling down to the ground. 

 

HINT: Rodan has a wingspan of 200 meters and weighs 30,000 tons.   Racing him is pretty much suicide,   Although, since he's much more powerful and faster, it would be better off to have him be RD's partner instead of opponent.

Well, Mothra would most likely be peaceful with Fluttershy since they seek "peace".  Yet, Mothra to form alliance with Fluttershy would be possible, but would have to wear protective gear against the King, b/c of his radiation,

 

Rodan on the other hand, most Godzilla fans would say that, b/c he breaks it all the time, once he takes off.
