Yep, me too. I've never really liked the idea of somehow ending up in Equestria as a pony. I'd prefer staying Human. I dunno, I really like Human in Equestria scenarios, where cultural issues arise, and you have to get used to it as well as teach them about Human culture. I'd love the challenge of making friends with the local pony folk, and I kinda like the Human x Pony relationship idea too...

I get all of my Pony clothing and stuff from Redbubble. They're a great site and postage for a shirt or hoodie is like £3-£5 or something incredibly cheap :3 Plus, they have literally hundreds of different designs. As for plushies, I have a Build A Bear Rainbow Dash, and I'm sure you can get it delivered by them, however, if you want cartoon accuracy and more obscure ponies, then you'll probably need to commission someone on Deviant Art, or find a seller on Etsy or something. Though, these are usually really expensive and you'll need to pay shipping if its from the US, which is likely. As for toys and other collectibles, I've had to use international sellers from Amazon US and eBay, or places that import, like Forbidden Planet and Mare Play. Again, when ordering from the US, you'll pay a considerable amount of postage and customs fees... But if you're happy with the lackluster UK stock, you can find brushables and Blind Bags at places like Tesco and Toys R Us, while you can find a generally broader range of stuff at Forbidden Planet stores.

There are none in Scotland, but you missed BUCK in August which took place in Manchester. I mean, its probably the closest anyone in the UK can get to in terms of an MLP convention... Who knows, maybe one will pop up in Scotland at some point?

If I recall correctly, a bunch of 4chan users started watching it ironically, so they could poke fun at it, but some people were legitimately attracted to the show after seeing the first episode. This led to more and more people watching until it got to the point that 4chan was being overwhelmed by pony related posts, both by spammers and by people who were enthusiastic about watching the show. These posts were getting most users really angry, especially those folks over at /b/, so there was this boardwide dislike of pony posts, until it got to the point that mods were banning the IP's of users that even mentioned the word 'pony'. However, most of these early Bronies could get around the IP blocks, seeing as the fandom as a whole is pretty good with technology and computers, and would post ponies anyway, hence the "Mods are asleep. Post ponies" meme. This then led to what became known as the Pony Wars, where fans would continue evading IP bans and posting ponies, while mods tried to ban them all. After a while, a lot of Bronies left 4chan, seeing as they were pretty much unwanted, and started their own websites, ponychan being an example. It was stopped by none other than m00t, who created the /mlp/ board and directed everybody to keep all the MLP posts on that board and that board ONLY. It could be argued though that the board serves as a means to contain Bronies and pony posts, as to prevent spreading to other parts of 4chan which was common when it all began. .... And that's how Equestria was made!

I'm in the same boat dude. I'd love some accurate plushies of Vinyl, Lyra, Luna and a bunch of others, but the only ones readily available are the Build A Bear ones, but they only sell Pinkie, Dash, Twilight and Spike, and aren't very accurate with the exception of Spike. I think your best bet would be Deviant Art, where you could get one made by someone, but they'll be pretty expensive. Another idea would be to try Etsy, where people sell stuff they've made. I've seen some awesome plushies on there, but again, they'll cost you. The last option is to go to a convention and buy plushies from the dealer tables. When I went to BUCK, there were a few tables selling some pretty good plushies, but I didn't see how much they were selling for. Good luck to you anyway dude!

I love Fluttershy. I think her personality is great, she looks adorable, and her voice is so damn pleasant. I also relate to some aspects of her personality. She's my favourite of the Mane 6, and an ex-favourite overall pony. (She lost that position to Vinyl...) Nevertheless, she's still my second favourite pony, and I'll probably always have a soft spot for her considering I had a crush on her for a long time when I first became a Brony. In regards to the show itself, I think her background hasn't been explored enough, and she's probably the one with the most potential to grow. I look forward to more Fluttershy-centric episodes in Season 4!

Creepy old man: I'm 18, and as creepy as I may be, I'm no old man. Paedophile: Wrong again. Overweight: Nope. Though, I'm built like a brick wall. Neckbeard: I shave every couple of days. Autistic: I'm pretty sure I'm not autistic... Homosexual: I'm attracted to females. Be they pony or Human. Lives in parents basement: Though I do live with my parents, its acceptable at 18, and I have a room upstairs, not a basement. Has 'no life', or spends all day at home: I may be socially awkward, but I do have friends that I speak to and make an effort to see at least once a week outside of school. What are you going to do? Love and tolerate? No. As much as loving and tolerating is a nice concept, I can't really do that. If you're a dick, I'll tell you what I think straight up, and if you try to hit me, you'd better be prepared. I'm a fairly tough guy. But, I'll happily try to avoid conflict if possible. Though I break these particular stereotypes, there are others that can be accurately applied to me.

Absolutely loved the cafeteria scene with the music :3 And I also really liked the scene near the start where Pinkie uncurls herself and makes a transforming sound whilst doing so. As a Transformers fan, this pleases me :3

When I first started watching the show, Fluttershy was by far my favourite, and she stayed my favourite for a very long time. But after getting more and more involved in the fandom and getting into fanfiction and stuff, Vinyl became my favourite, and has been for a good 7 months now.

I guess the dislike bar speaks more about how welcome that kind of fic is then... Your best bet would be to just ignore it. I mean, its the internet. There are all types of crazy things and people out here.

For example, the kind of people that sent death threats to DHX... Anyway, I don't think that particular fanfiction is anything to be worried about. I mean, it was probably written by a single person, and you have to remind yourself that in a fandom consisting of potentially millions of people, there are bound to be a few people like that... I don't think its anything to leave the fandom over considering most are pretty cool people. Maybe the fic was just a troll attempt?

When I was sitting in the cinema watching EG, I was like, "Wow. This theme is so bad". Then, I began listening to it on YouTube more and more, until the song was on my phone, and got listened to a LOT, Safe to say that I love it!

I saw that :3 At first, I just that it was some random journalist, and I was kinda wary thinking that we'd somehow be portrayed negatively or some smug fun-making would ensue, but they were okay after all! I believe I was caught on camera in the background as well, I hope I haven't been though, I was probably standing around looking awkward.

I think its perfectly normal to feel something for particular fictional characters. Even if they're ponies. Actually, for a good 7 months or so now, I've been romantically obsessed with Vinyl Scratch. I just can't help it! She's adorable and absolutely perfect in my headcanon :3 However, like what other people have said, try not to get to a point where you're mixing up the worlds of reality and dreams. I mean, I dream about Vinyl a lot, but I'd like to think that I still have a handle on reality. And for the love of god, don't get to the point where you avoid actual Human relationships in fear of 'cheating' on this Celestia. and definitely don't devote all of your thinking time to her. I can say from experience that its not healthy at all.

I saw this Anti-Brony Brotherhood Facebook page, and it honestly seems like either a legitimate troll page, or created by someone so imbecilic that it comes across as a troll page. Judging by their posts and replies to other people, they can't be serious? Meh. I'm not phased by it. What are they going to do? Abuse random people on Facebook and rant about how Ponies are ruining their lives? Bahahaha!
