    My headcanon is creation. Celestia and Luna became alicorns as they got their cutie marks. They were unicorns, because they are the only race capable of moving sun and moon. Their flowing mane is caused by power. Twilight and Cadance have it soon enough. Faust Yup. Technically, alicorns even could be turned into gods, demigods or spirits again, which was a familiar theory before Faust has been asked.

    It's all about politics. An Alicorn shouldn't have a bias towards any pony race. Earth Ponies and pegasi would protest and revolt, if a corrupt unicorn would rule this land and gives his own kind an advantage. Equestria would fall apart very soon. .

    I don't think it was life threatening. Remember that Twilight survived an anvil and a piano. Damn, ponies are tough. She had to go to hospital, though.

    She cried, because she knew what happened to Discord. Being imprisoned in stone or in the moon isn't much of a difference, actually. The Mane Six didn't look like they knew what they're doing as they freed Luna. What made them so special to free Luna? Was Celestia even sure that Nightmare Moon didn't get a ticket to the moon again? Discord was imprisoned on two occasions, but has never been brainwashed or something. I think the elements have their on mind and imprison every bad guy. Luna was freed, because MANE SIX. Seems legit. :comeatus:

    Okay, it's a bit hard to believe that Twilight Sparkle is easier to spell than Cadance, but if that's really so, then i'm sorry. Oh well, therefore my grammar is often shittier. ;-)

    Twilight will get used to it. She already learned to give orders to guards. ;-) So far she doesn't feel less princess material than Cadance to me, because you never saw her around with a scepter or something as example. The pony nobles look like sycophants. They won't ever disrespect Twilight to the level they want to overthrow her. Im sure there won't be much trouble. Ah, besides i got it now. At least all this misspelling of names does affect your disliked ponies only. Though it still gives me a headache.

    Then we have to settle in the north. It's going to get cold, folks. :v Are the badlands habitated, actually? There will be a big problem with food. But then, there shoukd be enough rivers and grass? No question, it would be a tough time. Yeah, that's what Equestria needs: For god's sake, let the princesses and the guards take care of this and not some Brony Death Squad. I bet, they would be the first to leave Equestria for being prejudiced murderers anyway. Btw, claiming every clopper to be a rapist and a sexual harasser is like claiming all african people have HIV. Sometimes bronies make me cringe.

    Oh, my opinion will be so disliked. 1. Celestia ( did a good job in the last 1000 years. A nice ruler) 2. Cadance (showed no strong flaws so far - she could be Celestia II. The Crystal Empire is at good hooves.) 3. Twilight ( still a noob at being a princess and a control freak) 4. Luna ( oh, here it comes v ) She's unstable enough to get possessed. She almost turned Equestria in an uninhabitable area, including attempted fratricide. Being possessed or not, in our world she would be executed or deprived of power. Without her sister she also might have been a very good tyrant yelling at her intimidated subjects. Don't punch me

    Rainbow Dash's bragging and selfishness is easier to excuse by hidden insecurity or being childish while Rarity feels more grown up. For example, when Rarity doesn't really care about missing Angel Bunny in the castle it feels rather cold while Rainbow Dash's excuse would be rather insouciance. *shrug* Maybe that's just my opinion.

    Slightly offtopic, but that was my biggest roll-eyes-moment in the whole movie. In reality one of the criminals or yuppies would have pushed the button. The Joker would have won without script protection.

    Nightmare Moon went from "I refuse to let the sun rise. Deal with it!" to "There can be only one princess and you shall DIE!!!" It looked as if Luna even thought this way before becoming Nightmare Moon. It's hardly surprising that the book tells the story in a more harmless way.

    Maybe they're just running out of ideas for fashion and country themes. It's not Fluttershy's fault. A beastmaster can be useful. Twilight would have been petrified a bit longer (they should have some spells for it), especially if you need that one cockatrice to undo this. They would have been dragon food in season 1. She manipulated Discord, so that he can be useful. They would have injured a manticore or vice versa. Yes she's useful. All of them could be as generous as Rarity, though. Sorry, Rarity fans. -.-"

    I'm sure they would be ponies, if they come through the mirror. I wouldn't want that either, because i hate doppelganger episodes. I disliked the Canterlot Wedding for this and i liked Too Many Pinkies for that only reason, that it was funny. And i'm with you with no sea ponies. I don't remember any good episode which took place underwater. edit: Spongebob is the big exception, of course :-D

    I'd be surprised if the latter upsets people more for real. You might have an alicorn phobia, if you really prefer the death of a character to an alicorn ascension :v

    Humans would overrun Equestria by sheer force of numbers. It's quantity over quality and i'm not convinced that Equestria would even have the better quality. Unicorns would pose a threat, but pegasi or earth ponies not so much and i don't think that the four alicorns can do it on their own. Only Discord could save the day.

    Fluttershy said it's a village but i think it's a town now. Ponyville looks even bigger than Appleloosa on the map. Well, maybe Equestria is smaller as you think and they dispay the tiniest settlements on the map. Ponyville could be still a big village. A village with many facilities. Hm, a village with a hospital? No, i think it's a town.

    I'm Gary S. and i have nothing against Gary Stu's and Mary Sue's, unless they're getting annoying. I stumbled over MLP rather late, exactly after season two. First i was sure it's just another show for little girls, but as so many people talked about it on the internet, there had to be more in it. I'd like to compare it with Spongebob, because it's made for little children, but even adults can enjoy it. I can sound silly at times, because my english isn't perfect. Probably i already do, but i try my best. :v See you around.
