  1. Ditzy Doo will be the angel on top of my Christmas tree. I predict my tree will last no longer than 48 hours. Strangely, I'm OK with this.
  2. This is a quick piece of writing that came to me as I was leaving the 7-11 today. - - - - A fourteen year old girl is texting gossip on her expensive cell phone that her stepfather got her. An obese caucasian male is in line, the man demanding to know why lottery ticket prices have been increased. And then there's me. I'm filling up a ninety nine cent coffee and counting my change with my fingers in my jacket pocket to see if I've got enough to get some cigarettes. The guy behind the counter working there has been pulling graveyard shifts all week. But what those black rings under his eyes don't come out and say is that he's taking care of his sick. He needs to go home. Now why does none of this matter? Because of the propane tank outside that's about to explode and kill everyone inside due to a combination of leaking gas pressure and a certain someone's John Player king size.
  3. It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is our plan.

  4. Didn't know if I'd like it so I watched the first episode on YouTube. Next thing you know, I've torrented the whole season, downloaded both OST albums, have a P&S wallpaper on my comp, and I've even looked into purchasing actual merchandise. What happened?
  5. I've been a very long time fan of both Sonic the Hedgehog fandom and Warhammer 40K. Obviously I'm a Brony too (otherwise I wouldnt be here) and a few others are Futurama and Calvin and Hobbes. I've just recently begun to integrate into the fandom of Hellblazer. John Constantine is a bad-ass. I consider being part of a 'fandom' more than just enjoying whatever it is you're a fan of. I'm a big fan of Halo, but I don't consider myself part of the fandom. I don't partake in any Halo forums, don't read any of the novels/fanfictions, own any Halo merch etc. That's what I consider being part of a fandom is more than just casually enjoying the object of the fandom. Ayone else understand what I mean?
  6. Wow. Just watched the latest episode now, how good is that new song? It might be my favorite in the whole series.

    1. Shiki

      Shiki

I find it to be catchy, but a little repetitive... Most of the song was just "Bad seed, bad seed, what we gonna do!"

    2. Creamy Arty

      Creamy Arty

As stated above, it did make heavy use of the refrain, but the lyrics were sensible, the beat was catchy, and there's some good remixing potential in there. It's a solid 8/10 for me.

  7. I like the video you made, one of my favorite tracks on the soundtrack and I gotta say, this new release looks impressive. If I can find it in any music/record stores near me I think I'd definately pick it up.
  8. I guess I have an Albertan accent, I do say 'eh' quite often in conversation (but I've never said aboot isntead of about). I also stutter sometimes if I get nervous or anxious and it makes me feel embaressed which in turn makes me stutter MORE, so usually if I start to stutter I have to force myself to just shut up for a minute or two, which makes it awkward if I'm midway through explaining something to someone. Most of my friends understand why I'll suddenly be quiet though.
  9. The director's cut of Watchmen is one of the best recent films. Also, Prometheus. As for older films, I'd have to go with any John Candy comedy, specifically Planes, Trains and Automobiles or Uncle Buck.
  10. Even as a Canadian, we celebrated Thanksgiving today which was awesome cause more turkey. But apparently being thankful for 'science and the human understanding of science' was not what my mom wanted to hear.

  11. George likes his chicken spicy.

  12. This weekend could not come soon enough.

    mega thread Metal Thread

Classic metal, probably the best Pentagram song. Any Pentagram fans, watch the documentary 'Last Days Here' its all about them trying to convince Bobby Leibling to reunite Pentagram. Also; since when did this thread need 100 characters per post?
  16. I agreee with the person who said Gilda is sexy. She's also one of my favorite characters and even though I know it improbable I wish she'd make another apperance on the show.
  17. Pretending to be a musical elitist is awesome. I'm not a sociable person, especially when I go to shows all I wanna do is watch the band and not talk to people I don't know. So if people come up and try and make discussion, I just ridicule their music tastes so they won't talk to me.
  18. My god...they're horses.

  19. A big dollop of vanilla ice cream over freshly toasted Eggo Waffles. Sriracha sauce on EVERYTHING! Also, when making tuna for sandwiches, I like to substitute the mayo for spicy ranch dressing. And of course, a delish reciepe: take some jalapeno peppers, slice them in half and scoop out the seeds, fill the insides with half cream cheese and half sour cream, then completely wrap them in bacon strips, put a toothpick through to hold it together and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
  20. I'll be damned if I remember what restaurant served this tasty concoction, but as a child the most popular drink on the kid's menu was Beetlejuice, half grape soda and half orange soda. It was quite excellent. Putting gingerale in lemonade or cranberry juice is also excellent.
  21. Yes. That is awesome! How did you do it without actually cutting all the way through to the inside? I like the way you did it though. Very spooky! Have a happy halloween yourself!
  22. Well, I have a few words on the subject.
  23. I like Halloween mainly because I can use it as an excuse to get black-out drunk and wear something crazy.
  24. I see I'm too late, but I'd reccomend reading A Clockwork Orange anyways, its one of the greatest books in the world in my opinion.
