    Usually about an hour or more. Unless I take ambien, then it's more like 15-20 minutes. My body hates sleep but I"m always tired.

    I think once of the CMC (I forget which) said she didn't care if she EVER got her cutie mark as long as she could help others. Her friends agreed AND that was what sealed their fate so to speak. Everything else they did was to get their cutie marks but when they finally stopped thinking about themselves and putting others first they discovered that WAS their talent and therefore earned the marks.

    I used to watch them on Youtube when I could find them and then I started watching them on Netflix.

    I guess I could just go look up the dates those episodes aired and treat them as their birthdays. I'm just trying to remind any other references to birthdays of other characters.

    So there have been birthdays mentioned in the show Pinkie and Rainbow Dash? Do we have any way of knowing what days the others fall on? I guess we can go on the episode Party of One for Pinkie's day and Pinkie Pride for RD's birthday and the day before Pinkie's birthday is said to be Gummy's.. But, have their been any other clues to the birthdays of the other ponies? If so, I can't remember any hints except for when Pinkie was mentioning how many days each background pony had until their birthday right before breaking out into the Smile Song. Oops...Almost forgot Spike. He had a birthday episode too!

    Keeping Scootaloo from flying. Even if she's never going to be the best flier and maybe struggle the rest of her life, I'd like to see her get a little more result from her efforts.

    Maybe this is off topic a bit but although I reject EQG I think the character of Sunset Shimmer had potential to be an interesting (pony) character in FiM. She's more interesting than Starlight Glimmer (who incidentally I liked in 5:1 but really wish she hadn't been redeemed, especially using the "tragic backstory they did with her...but I've made this complaint before so I'll stop now.)

    I don't want any humans in FiM but as a G1 fan, I've got to say I really loved the kid napping song, which I never noticed that was what was actually happening until I read comments on this forum and YouTube. Good thing I was never approached by flying pastel ponies as a kid. I would have gone with them no questions asked.

    A young competitive RD is all about winning. I could see how she would be distracted compared to herself as an adult with a job adnd honed talents.

    I want to say Fluttercord because her relationship with discord (despite what it's labeled) is one of the more interesting things about Fluttershy. Oddly enough Celestia, despite character development and adequate screen time, has shown enough of her personality for us to see her a prankster herself only within bounds. I actually do think she'd appreciate his antics more than Fluttershy who is his friend because she's a sweet pony and quite possibility finds somepony so different than her fascinating and of course, she wants to help as out of loyalty the Celestia's request and the goodness of her heart.

    Interesting. I tend to assume everything is sarcasm too. I'm told most autistic people take everything at face value. I've got the obsession and focusing issues too. Does the show help calm you? I find that when I'm over stimulated it helps me relax. I watched a whole season in a day because I was too agitated to do anything else.

    Can I ask how your autism affects you? I have higher functioning autism but it still is hard to function in society, daily tasks, sensory overload, communication issues, etc. But when I'm in my comfort zone people can't tell. My husband didn't believe me when he first met me (I was playing a video game with a well known friend) and I told him. Then we started dating and he had no doubt after that. I like the show because there are all kinds of personalities and even if they tease or misunderstand each other, no one seems to look down on anyone else or try to change them. I think that would appeal to a lot of autistic people.

    I hope so and think it will be. That being said, I don't want any mane 6 casualties.

    I'm a sucker for Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash moments, but besides that, I really liked the end in Hurricane Fluttershy where RD was so proud of Fluttershy for conquering her fears and helping them achieve their goals. She may not understand or relate to Fluttershy but she really cares about her even if empathy isn't a natural skill for her. In fact it makes it all the more heartfelt when it's shown, in my opinion.

    Ugh. I know I hate this. Pinkie's "You Gotta Care" song mentions they're vegetarian but they're clearly not vegan. If they just never made them talk, none of this would be an issue (except for the viewers who do not eat meat/consumer animal products for moral reasons anyway.) We'd assume ponies were the Equestrian equivalent to humans and had their own farm animals of lesser intelligence.

    I went with theatrical but I think we have a different idea of what theatrical is. I don't like Let the Rainbow Remind you but I love Make Our Mark and True True Friend and wouldn't consider those pop.True True Friend, especially at the end with all the Ponyville residents singing together seems VERY theatrical to me. My favorite songs are, At the Gala, The Smile Song. A True True Friend, You'll Play Your Part, and Hearts and Strong as Horses. So whatever you'd call that mash of songs. I do agree with I'll Fly as a pop song though (if the lyrics were different I could imagine hearing it on the radio) and I also love that one though, so really I like a bit of everything. (Except the stuff from Equestria Girls, really which are the most pop-like songs to me other than Ra-Ra's Razzle Dazzle song, neither of which I can stand...)

    I saw fan art of Fluttershy with short hair and I rather loved it. Rarity could occasionally change her hair since she's the one most into fashion but I'd still prefer she keep it the same MOST of the time. Those are the only differences I really want to see.

    Hurricane Fluttershy. Fluttershy isn't my favorite, but I was rooting for her and sympathizing with her the whole time. I also liked the lesson that even if you work hard, you can improve but you maybe never been really good at something. That doesn't mean your efforts won't make a difference. I also liked RD's character development. She was so much more patient with Fluttershy than say, in Dragon Shy in season 1 where she had no patience for her at all.

    Ohhh I forgot about B.B.B.F.F. That one is just too juvenile as someone else said. Somehow I feel like it didn't fit with the rest of the show even though the show is targeted for juveniles. Usually the music is above that in my opinion. Vampire bats is a song I find overrated even though I don't dislike it. Most people I know just love it for some reason.

    AJ is the only ones I like for general use. Though I do like when Pinkie calls RD "Dashie." I don't think it would work if anyone else did it though.

    I never heard the album version before but Rarity definitely sounds different. Weird. I definitely prefer the show version of that line lol. Also, comparing the two versions it seems AJ singing the echos to the chorus at the end is more pronounced. I coudln't really tell it was her on the show version but it was obvious on the album version.

    Zecora's introduction to the series in season 1 kind of touched on racism a bit..especially where Rarity commented on Zecora's stripes and they told her that's her natural skin. I feel like it could have been explained a bit better as they were really more interested the mane 6 dealing with poison joke than learning about another culture/someone who looks different however.
