    This was one of my favourites so far. It's certainly in my top two along with The Game is Ahoof. Like that one it displayed a mastery of the 5-minute format and showed what these Tell Your Tale episodes can achieve despite the short running time.

    I've been liking it a lot so far, perhaps a bit more than I expected to. The movie was fantastic and most of the Tell Your Tales have been great. I liked the special a lot but I felt it could have had a bit more to it. There's so much potential for generation 5 and I hope they manage to fulfil it. I'm guessing we'll see when the Make Your Mark series comes out.

    Ten minutes ago I was doing what I'm doing now.....and that's listening to the DJ Pon-3 Presents My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Remixed album I've really liked a couple of the tracks so far.

    I finally got round to watching the latest Tell Your Tale.

    I see this thread is almost ten years old! But I've never seen it before. I'd just like to point out that I LOVE Trixie. In fact in the whole of Friendship is Magic she is my second favourite character of all time. Just one place behind her best friend Starlight Glimmer I always loved her sassy personality. Boast Busters is one of the season one episodes that I like to rewatch the most.

    This was a fun one. I always seem to like the ones based around Izzy. Nice little song too. We need to get a full-length version of that song. The more we see of Izzy the more it's obvious that she's the Pinkie Pie of this generation!

    I watch generation 4 much more but that's only because there's much more of it. After all generation 5 so far only consists of a movie, one special and 13 shorts. I watch everything new that comes out a couple of times in the first few days of it arriving and sometimes watch things again when I'm in the mood for them. I've seen the movie three times now. As for Friendship is Magic I usually rewatch a random episode about every second day on average. It's my comfort watch

    This was really good! Probably my favourite of all these Tell Your Tale shorts so far I've noticed that Pony episodes (whether they're just shorts or normal length) that have an investigation theme always seem to turn out really good, such as this and Foal Me Once from earlier in the season, and the FiM episodes Rarity Investigates! and MMMystery on the Friendship Express. And the best Equestria Girls Choose Your Own Ending was that one where Rarity was being a detective.

    That doesn't mean they're terrible though, surely? Personally I think they do a great job. I got used to the new voices right away, which I found surprising.

    Yes, yes and yes! Of course I'm excited, I feel sorry for any fan that isn't hyped up for this. I love the movie, I've been loving the Tell Your Tale episodes and I'm sure I'm going to love this special too.

    I liked it a lot. I'm really loving these. The generation 4 references were one of the highlights. All three paintings we saw in the art gallery during the Becoming Popular song montage in Sweet and Elite also appeared in this. Plus we got two of the Tree Hugger paintings from the song montage in On Your Marks. Not sure if we've seen the other paintings before (A Rainbow Dash version of the Scream, the Mona Lisa parody, a parody of Girl with a Pearl Earring and another that I don't recognise)

    Derpy for me. And I'd rather have her in her pony form I never really liked the Equestria Girls version of the character, I always thought she lost a lot of her attractiveness as a human. The grey skin looks odd.

    That was my favourite so far I even liked the song. I'm liking these Tell Your Tale episodes a lot. The one thing I really like about this 2D style as opposed to the 3D of the movie is that the characters look a lot cuter in 2D.

    I like them a lot. I was expecting the change to be jarring but it didn't bother me.

    Nothing will make me rage quit generation 5, but I might get a bit mad if they start retconning things from generation 4. That's the thing I fear the most.
