  1. Wow, I should really get back to reading that Let's Play... Has it really been three months? I admit that I actually haven't read anything since then... I may be wrong, but I thought I heard that they were making a spin-off game that would involve Naegi's sister, as well as Genocider Syo. I don't have time to look for the link at the moment, but I could try to find one once I get back from work.
  2. Hi there Calssius! I just wanted to thank you for the friend add.

  3. That's possible, maybe I changed it back during that week where everyone was given subscriber status after the Christmas charity drive... Anyways, thank you all for your answers!
  4. Hello, I just came here to ask, well, the above question. This wouldn't really be a concern to me usually, but my signature used to actually have six lines of text plus the banner picture. Then, when I went to change it today, I got errors until I reduced everything down to the current five lines. Was this a somewhat recent change? (By recent, this could easily have been months ago, since I haven't edited my signature in quite some time) I apologize for the potentially silly question and thank you for your help in advance.
  5. Above every post, the poster's username appears. That means that in every single thread that a user posts, their name will appear. You have posted in this thread, therefore your name has appeared here. i can haz $500?
  6. My emotions are kept under lock and key, and packed away pretty deeply (at least in person, I don't do that so much in writing). When I'm around people that I know, I'm better at expressing positive emotions, but anything that might make others uncomfortable (anger, sadness, etc) I try to stuff away into dark corners. It leaks out every now and then, but luckily, I can't think of a time that I've ever had a full-blown meltdown.
  7. I've seen you around quite a bit recently, and over seven hundred posts in less than a month is pretty impressive. 7/10
  8. Huh, I don't really know what to think of this episode... I mean, I liked it... I think. It wasn't really a fun episode, but I guess it had a good message? Personally, I don't really get the conclusion (so, you're friends because you all care about Pinkie Pie, and... that's it?) and I'm not a huge fan of the emotionless brooding character. However, getting to meet some of Pinkie's family was interesting, and I always enjoy when all of the Mane 6 get a part to play (and they each seemed to be very much in character). Overall, it was a fine episode. Not my favorite of the season, but still fine.
  9. Hello there! I just wanted to thank you for the friend add!

Ah, no problem anti. I'm looking for likeminded people, and I think we are pretty like minded in a lot of areas :)

      Have a nice day.

Oh, thank you! I hope you have a nice day as well.

  10. I find it annoying when people do things that serve absolutely no purpose, a prime example being pressing the close door button on an elevator. The button does not work. It has never worked, nor will it ever work. It does nothing (except in emergency cases). I also hate being able to hear other people eat. I don't know why it bothers me so much, but just.... ugh. Especially if they can't keep their mouth closed as they're chewing and you hear that obnoxious champing sound... I can't stand it.
  11. I'm absolutely not a touchy-feely person (I really don't like touching other people, and I generally don't like it when people touch me), so no, and I imagine if it ever does happen it will be ridiculously awkward. I suppose it doesn't help that I've never been in a romantic relationship either.
  12. Ah, I apologize, I should have clarified that I wasn't talking about pieces that are performed by electronic instruments. I meant pieces that require no human performers, and are only meant to be played through speakers. Playing an electronic instrument is certainly not easy. Oh no, I'm just being nit-picky about the technical definition of a song (I'm sorry that my only reference at the moment is from Dictionary.com). For example the Beethoven sonatas are not technically songs, because they have no lyrics, nor are they intended to mimic a piece that is sung (as far as I know... anyone who actually knows about music history could probably correct me). They are wonderful, and they're absolutely considered music but you can't actually call them songs. It's a distinction that bothers all of my music professors, so it has sort of rubbed off on me.
  13. I absolutely agree. Electronic music is only easy to perform (though that is also debatable); composing it is another matter entirely. It is not just pressing a button on a computer. As for my own, it's more of a recent pet peeve of mine, but by definition, a song is required to have lyrics. If a piece of music does not have spoken words, it cannot technically be called a song. Also, the notion that an ensemble conductor doesn't actually do anything. That is false, the conductor does (most times) ridiculously important. They are not just standing up there making random hand motions; there is a pattern and it makes perfect sense. It's not something I hear very often, but it irritates me every time I do...
  14. I find that it's less about the exact age of the person and more about how mature they act. So long as I can have a pleasant conversation with them and the majority of their actions don't irritate me, I have no problems calling them a friend. I'll admit that the veil of the internet makes age gaps much less awkward too; meeting them in person may be a little bit different, at least for myself.
  15. Well he brohoofed the post. Does that mean mission accomplished?
  16. For the pokemon party, perhaps booster packs of pokemon cards would be cool. That could get expensive if there are a lot of kids though... (I think they go for $4-5 per pack) For Doctor Who... hm... I've only seen the ninth Doctor at the moment, but maybe they could all make gingerbread daleks?
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0v1XzmdInuk Quite literally every single line an antagonist from Star Fox 64 says. I'm not joking. These guys wrote (or very heavily studied) the book on cheesy villain quotes.
  18. Aw, but Von Karma is so awesome! Sure, he's a jerk, but.... Eh, yeah, he sort of deserves it. Were I to choose anyone from the Ace Attorney series though, I'd have gone with Oldbag. Prince Joffrey, Queen Cersei (Song of Ice and Fire series), and Alex DeLarge (A Clockwork Orange) are characters that I would love to see go through the Cupcakes treatment.
  19. No idea when the next update will be, but it should be automatic (or at least it always has been on my android device). It seems like a lot of times when they add ponies to updates, at least one of them can be bought with bits while the other one requires gems. They'll also add some of them to the potential dance game prizes (Lightning Dust and Flash Sentry are ones that I know are only available through the dance game). Huh, it seems that I've managed to save up almost 250 gems... How did that happen? I plan to use them on Soarin so I can finally move on with the quests, but I want to wait for him to go on sale.
  20. Alrighty, why not? I'll just use my college dorm room for now, since that's where I'm spending most of my time: 1. There are zero posters (or anything else) on the walls. I like them the way they are (much to my family's displeasure). 2. It's a single-person room, but I share a bathroom with the guy next to me. 3. It is located on the nineteenth floor of the building. 4. There is a window, but I keep the shades permanently shut. 5. There are a number of figurines on display, ranging from MLP Funko figurines to Kefka from FFVI to a Gollum bobble-head. 6. I have a refrigerator/freezer/microwave (but I hardly ever use it). 7. My floor is always clean, but I prefer to keep my desk in a state of organized chaos. 8. My bed is more often used as a desk than my desk is. 9. I have a television and an Xbox 360. 10. Almost everything has a place where it just always goes. If it is not in that place (or at least relatively close to that place), I get irritated.
  21. It's nice to see the CMC actually be competent for once! Having known nothing about the episode before watching it, I thought that this was going to be all about Apple Bloom learning about the responsibility of being home alone, but it wasn't! She was actually pretty good at it. Her over-excitement about being left home alone also brought back a lot of memories. The "We don't have time for a song!" line is probably one of the funniest lines I've heard in the entire show. I'm pretty sure I've never laughed so hard at a joke in MLP before that. It was just so well executed. If I had to complain about anything, it would probably be that I felt the conclusion was a bit unrealistic, or at least the one line AJ says about not needing to hover over Apple Bloom anymore. Also, they forgot about the lightning sand and ROUS, but that's a minor thing. Overall, a fun and good episode. Not the best, but far from the worst.
