Randomly Assigned Species!

So, often I see the topic of; "What species would you like to be?" or, "What species would you be?," and more often then both of these, people make OC's.

 

Well, I'm a bit of a stickler for realism. You see, IRL, you don't choose what you're born as (religious beliefs aside). It's randomly assigned.

 

So let's have a little bit of fun with this. It's kinda a game, but there's really no score or "winning," so I don't think it quite belongs in the Cloudsdale section since the focus here is more on conversation and; "what would you do/how would you cope/what do you get?" Kinda thing.

 

And even better than randomly assigning, I've even set this up to roughly reflect the populations in Equestria in the show. You've got roughly a 90% chance of being a pony, for example, and the most common "oddball" is griffons, to reflect that there's an entire griffon nation out there, but not many live in Equestria.

Although all the mane 6 are female, I decided to refer to a few compilation images, and I've decided the gender ratio is more along the lines of 1:3.

Anyways, I keep getting Pegasus!

 

Hmm. Although I kinda wish I could do magic, it's pretty darn awesome to be able to take to flight at the drop of a hat. Hehe, I'm starting to feel sorry for all those critters confined to the two-dimensional surface-dwelling life!

 

I love flying like crazy IRL, so the more I think about how I love flying, the less sad I am about not being able to do magic. I've always been a bigger fan of science, anyways XP

 

So, I'll probably go on to be an astronomer as I plan to do IRL. Wonderful sights to see from way atop the clouds!

 

And then I did the gender thing for fun, too. I got male. No change there, hehe.

In reality, I figured based on my personality, physical build, and other factors, that I would probably be a unicorn, and having the ability to use magic would be cool, but so would being able to fly. I know this is just a fun game for kicks, but I can kind of picture being a pegasus.
