am I the only one who hates dragonflies

I like dragonflys. I like all creatures of this earth.

Including cockroaches? 

No, I hate dragonflies, they're annoying and always throw you out of the platform with their electric tails  . THESE BASTARDS MAKE A FLYING DEKU'S LIFE A LIVING HELL

Maybe, I like dragonflies. They're one of the few insects I can tolerate/like. They're everywhere around here too.I've seen some rather large ones as well. When I go canoeing at my aunt's cottage, they like to perch on the boat and all over me.

I love them!  They come in so many colors and they're so huge and pretty.  My cousins and I would catch bugs as kids (we lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere, so we pretty much either caught bugs, or played with dirt).  If you caught a dragonfly, that was the ultimate catch.  You were THE kid of the day.

Ticks and mosquitos, yes. They're simply parasites. I can't hate spiders and wasps due to how useful they are to the ecosystem.

 

They are ugly and they sting. Enough said.

They don't sting (and I don't think they're ugly). They can bite, but only if you hold them carelessly.

I don't hate any animal, but... Fluttershy is going to kill me for this... I used to torture dragonfly like insects by ripping off their wings and legs and leaving them to die. I don't like hurting animals now, though.

Back in Korea they'd descend upon our flight line in swarms. I've never seen so many damn dragonflies. But they ate mosquitoes, and mosquitoes carry viruses, so I like em.

Also there were a ton of spiders in Korea. Most of them were golden orb weavers, and they were effin EVERYWHERE. But again, they eat mosquitoes, and we only have one guy in our unit who has arachnophobia, so it's fine. :p

Side note, spiders are pretty cool. My sister once had a Mexican red-knee tarantula as a pet, and it was pretty chill. She'd let you pet her and never bit anyone.

Dragonflies are really skilled flying devices, and they eat mosquitoes, so what not to like about them?
