Top 5 things that drivers do that you hate.

I'll give you six things.

6: Getting boxed in by slow moving cars, this happens to me all the time I drive to work because one of the cities I drive through is a community for the elderly.

5: Having a California licence plate. California may technically be my birth state, but I really hate California drivers. Usually when I see that plate, I know I'm going to be dealing with an idiot, and about 80% of the time I'm correct.

4: Driving slow in the fast lane... seriously its called the bloody "fast lane" not the "leisurely cruse lane"

3: Those drivers who don't know that the car to the right has the right of way when stopped at the same time, and either A: honks at you if you have the right of way, or B: signal you to go despite them having the right of way.

2: Those drivers who drop 10 MPH because a cop is driving with them. Seriously, they won't bite, you don't need to slow up traffic because a cop is next to you.

1: That jackass who slams the breaks in front of you because of a yellow light the both of us could easily make. Or worse, the one who drives slow enough so they can make the light but not you.

1. Texting on their phone while Im next to them

2. Running red lights, ESPECIALLY in front of cops

3. Cutting me off without signaling beforehand

4. Giving me a look when I'm trying to park after looking for parking for over an HOUR

Not sure if I have a top five, but I can think of a couple things that annoy the crap outta me-

1. Driving really slow in the fast lane on the interstate, it's like, if your in the fast lane, you need to be going fast, if your going slow enough that people have to pass you in the slow lane to get around, then you clearly need to get over into the slow and stop disrupting the flow of traffic. Semi trucks are a huge offender of this. They think they're fast, but they're not 

2. People not getting over to let you onto the interstate when your on the entrance ramp. If you see a car getting onto the road from the entrance ramp, the nice thing to do is to get over and let them in, as the lane for the ramp ends eventually and you can't exactly be driving at 70+ miles an hour on the shoulder of the road, that's dangerous. I can't even begin to tell you how often I've had to cut right in front of cars to get on the interstate as they refuse to move over lanes to let me in, like really, it's either I'm gonna have to cut you off so I can get on, or you can just politely move over and let me in and get up to speed. 

3. Playing the staring game at a stop sign with another driver. Someone just go already, it's not that hard to figure out who has the right-of-way 

4. Slow drivers in general. The least you can do is go the speed limit, but some people won't even go that. You can go around five over not be pulled over, and really, as long as your with the flow of traffic, your gonna be fine. I really hate slow drivers on two lane roads, cuz then it's harder to get around them.

Top 5, eh? I think have more than 5 but here we go.

1. The top thing that really bugs the crap out of me is people going slower than the speed limit

2. People who pull in front of you while you are going down a street at 60 mph (one of my accidents happened this way)

3. People who constantly stop for no reason at all which can sometimes lead to an accident if you aren't fast enough

4. People who try to race you when when you merge from a 2 lane street to a 1 lane one.

5. People who try go around you at a red light just because they are that impatient

1. Not using their fucking indicator, seriously, how fucking hard is it to flick a fucking switch right next to your steering wheel when you're gonna turn,

2. People who can't fucking park (like taking more than one fucking space) or taking up the compact with a big motor

3. taking up the EV zone with a "Fossil" or a "Petrol" or a "Gasoline" motor, seriously, it's not fucking hard to see that you can't fucking park here without an EV or a Hydbrid!

4. People going to a sudden stop at an amber light, seriously WTF

5. People that can't drive are still getting licences somehow

Driving too slow when they're in front of me, and tailgating when they get behind me. Shit, make up your minds, people!

Talking on their phones and not paying attention to the road.

Speeding up the minute there's a passing lane so I can't get by, then slowing down again afterward. 

People who are too old or handicapped to be behind the wheel. They're a menace to others and a pain in the ass on the road.  

Obliviously sitting there playing with their radios when the light has turned green.

i read a report somewhere that said of all drivers who do not signal, 1/3 claim it is becAuse they are too lazy. I mean heaven knows the process of using/cancelling your turn signal is such a long and taxing one. It happens so often that i just don't trust anyone with signals anymore and will wait for the road to clear before i risk a turn. 

Also if you tailgate me I am liable to dodge a pot hole at the last second, forcing you to hit it. And also drive below the speed limit because fuck you.

I live in California so it's as worst as it can be here. Just about everything, especially when people drive in the rain due to our dry climate. It's like they never see rain before and absolutely must overreact to every drop.

People who drive like idiots and then flip me the finger out the window like it's my fault (which it isn't at least a good 60% of the time).

Playing loud, thumping stereos with their windows down when I'm stuck next to them at an endless stop light. 

Revving their engines like it's the freakin' Daytona 500. Some of those things are deafening.

Driving recklessly while not watching the road.

Driving dangerously when they have kids in the car.

3. reving their engines late at night or early in the morning
4. not using the turn signals
5. not keeping a reasonable distance when they approach

Not using their indicators when they're going round a roundabout and suddenly pulling out in front of me from a junction when I have right of way are the two most annoying ones.

The worst thing drivers do here right now, is installing the extra headlights made out of leds. It makes a wall of white light in the opposite direction, and they care 0% about us poor walkers!

Texting and talking on the phone while driving

My grandma and I were in an accident years ago because a guy was on the phone and sped through a red light and hit us

90% of the time if someone cuts me off they’re on their phone.Sitting there stopped at a green light? Messing on their phone.Driving extra slow? On the phone.

Other than that it’s the usual 

Not giving the right of way 

blowing through stop signs

Not using turn signals

Also people throwing their trash out the window

But the biggest is the cell phones while driving. Anytime someone does something all I gotta do is look over and 90% of the time they’re either trying to  text and drive or talking on the phone.

The drivers where I live are absolutely awful, so I’ve got a lot to complain about. 

5. When drivers are on their phones so they’re constantly swerving and just overall driving terribly.

4. When people don’t use their turn signal ESPECIALLY when they’re merging in front of me. 

3. Drivers that swerve in and out of lanes so that they can go 25 miles above the speed limit. 

2. When people try to merge into my car. It happens way more often than it should.

1. And my biggest pet peeve of all is when I get cut off. Happens at least once a day and I am so tired of it!! Cutting people off can lead to accidents, you gotta be careful on the road.

I could say more but I’d be complaining for way too long.  It shouldn’t be that hard to be at least an okay driver, but apparently no one in my city is capable of that.

I won't do 5 things I'll just say that I really don't like or understand the extreme impatience and reckless behavior of most drivers. People act like animals behind the wheel.

I cant stand it when other drivers turn their flashing lights on and tell me things like:

"You ran that stop sign back there"

"Do you know how fast you were going"

"can you step out of the car for a moment"

Using the fast lane while driving under the speed limit. This includes trucks unless they are only getting into the lane so they can turn left. I don't know about my state, but in some places it's illegal.

Tossing trash, especially cigarettes, out the window.

Changing lanes without signaling.

Tailgating when I'm already going ~5 mph over the speed limit.

Creating unnecessary noise pollution with a souped up muffler... calm down Kyle, you're driving a Honda Civic, not a Corvette
