She went to the scariest cave in all of equestria of course!

I don't know, Starlight probably traveled some far away place in equestria or outside equestria where she will eventually meet up with the mane 6 either in the season finale or in multiple different episodes.

Personally I hope she travels to many different far out places from and out of equestria that the mane 6 will confront her each time and eventually defeat her in the finale.  It would be nice to have a reoccurring antagonist for once and maybe would allow for some character development for Starlight Glimmer.  I just hope that her disappearance will lead to something good later on the road.

I think itd be great if she raised and army or something and faced the mane 6 and equestria at the end of the season. That might be too much to ask from the show, but then again they just had an episode about communism, so who knows? It could happen.

Yeah. That scene where Starlight said "QUIET!" made me remember that AOSTH episode when Robotnik punched Grounder and said "SILENCE!". Heck! I even stood still when she said that in a menacing tone. If Robotnik and Starlight Glimmer ever teamed up, Sonic would have a very hard time.

She'll most likely play a huge part to this season, considering that she was in a two part premier, and never to be seen at the end. I have high hopes for her as a re-occuring character.

To be honest, I think Starlight will come back again at the Season Finale. This episode just doesn't feel like there's a happy resolution... yet.

I'm betting that she had no interest in creating a social movement in the first place, but rather just wanted to fill up that wall of marks and turn it into some kind of supreme cutie mark for herself, because she got picked on when she was little for having an inferior mark.

 

So she'll just some up with a new plan to collect marks, and we'll probably see the result of it in the finale.

 

Or option 2, which I think is less likely but would be a cooler character, is if the social movement really was her dream, and she just went about it the wrong way, using force instead of letting ponies try it and leave if they don't like it. In that case, I think she'd just have a personal vendetta against the mane 6 and try to cause trouble for them until they manage to befriend her.

We know how powerful this item is but what about the others? And what would happen is you were to combine all of them together? This is stating to remind me of the millennium items in Yu-Gi-Oh and her disappearance toward the end reminds me of how the Yu-Gi-Oh villain Yami Bakura kept disappearing only reappear later stronger than ever and with him being the big bad toward the end of the series. What made Starlight Glimmer dangerous is the same thing that made Sunset Shimmer dangerous in the first Equestria Girls movie and what made Yami Bakura dangerous in yu-Gi-Oh and that is their ability to manipulate others and use their own minds to their advantage.

Starlight Glimmer wanted everypony to think she gave up her cutie mark, too, so she could have just found a staff and just used it so everyone thinks the staff took their cutie marks instead of her. Perhaps she was interested in that topic and just used that.

Went into the caves and into exile. I expect her to make a comeback as a bigger and stronger villain in the finale or probably as an assistant for some other, more evil villain who will come in the season's final episode. As usual, the big bad villain will be defeated and Starlight will probably apologize only then and all is forgiven and she's with the good guys now.

I want to think that there was something to the whole "cutie mark collection", but I believe that she is insecure about herself. Hence when she was found out, she exclaimed that with cutie marks they'd think they are better than everyone else. Therefore, there may not be a motif. Maybe she's just a natural loony. lol
