What Are Your Sleeping Habits?

Venomous

Recommended Posts

My positions varies. I'm either Fetus, or free faller. However, I tend to bend my left leg and keep the right one straight. I find that comfy, I have no idea why.

When I'm asleep, you can shout, scream, set off a smoke alarm, slap me across the face, and I won't wake up. But, but when I'm awake, and trying to sleep - I need silence. Just, pure silence. I can't have a watch ticking, or else I can't sleep.

I know, it's strange.

Soldier for me.

However, I don't really sleep all that much, and my sleep schedule, is random...like...really random.

My job has either really early, or really late hours. And regardless of the day, I'll take at least a few hours after nightfall to work on

music every night...sometimes I'll be up at the crack of dawn, sometimes I won't get up until 1pm. It just depends on the scenario.

I used to have severe insomnia as a kid...I'd only get like 30-45 minutes of sleep per night...not fun times.

Now I get at least 4-5 hours, but that's about the average really...

Chaotic.

I like it chaotic.

Half blanket over me, without blanket, pillow punching until comfy, socks on my sheet, boots right next to me, my backpack close.

Sometimes i even sleep on my balcony in the free, because i miss to live on the streets, when my life was at my darkest point. :S

Besides that i haven't any rule how long i sleep, nor when.

Sometimes at day, at night, evening morning, from 4-10 hours.

I sleep on my side. I can also sleep on my back, but I used to be terrified of doing that until I was like 17 years old because of something disturbing I saw on TV when I was a little kid that really stuck with me. These days I don't care.

I can't sleep on my stomach, that's just painful.

I get a comforter and then crank the a/c up so it would be comfortable in the room. Then I get my phone and play some tunes and then curl up into a ball. When I feel tired out ( which usually happens after 30 minutes I start playing the songs) I pause my phone and go to sleep. Pretty good technique (for me :D)

I'm a weird mixture of the foetus, freefaller, and yearner positions, but most of the time I'm sleeping on my stomach. I don't sleep with a fan on, because I get a cold way too easily, and I have to have some sort of sound before I fall asleep. Usually, I'll play some YouTube video on my laptop and turn it down low enough to where I can still hear it, but it's not blaring.

My sleeping position is a mix between the yearner and foetus positions. My sleeping habits are sleeping with a TV on and I'm sometimes hugging a few stuffed animals when I fall asleep.

My sleeping position tends to be the fetal position, since I simply can't sleep with straightened out legs for some reason. Though my arms tend to take up a yearner position sometimes. Those other positions are horrifically uncomfortable for me, and I don't think sleep is even possible for me if I try them.

I can sleep with the TV on just fine, but for the sake of the electricity bill, I much prefer it to be off. I don't really need anything to fall asleep besides a quality pillow and a nice blanket or sheet, unless it's really hot, in which case my fan needs to be on full blast. I tend to sleep very sound and deep, with relatively little to no dreaming, and I do not snore at all.

I like to have a fan in my room while I sleep. Not for the air, but I find the sound relaxing. I'm a freefaller sleeper. It's hot where I live, so I only sleep with one (or sometimes none) blanket. I can sleep on pretty much anything (anything from a park bench to a school desk), however, I CAN NOT sleep in a car or vehicle.

My sleeping schedule is all kinds of messed up. I hate mornings and like to stay up REALLY late at night. So school... I always have a headache. I also have a tendency to move around A LOT when I sleep. That might explain why my pillows and plushies are on the floor sometimes. I'm also a very heavy sleeper, having slept through Hurricane Sandy and a flood.

What are my sleeping habits? F***ing awful. Don't get nearly enough of the stuff.

I usually cuddle my pillow and/or person and/or plushie. So like on my side or stomach.

I've recently needed to leave the fan on, but not facing me. Been hot as **** in SoCal lately.

I tend so sleep 7 to 8 hours in a dead sleep mostly on my side and need to wrap up in blankets and feel warm!  Also the room needs to be a bit cold!

When I go to sleep its not always at a consistent time. Always between 10pm-2am

I Sleep all positions but log and yearner.

Mostly foetus and soldier.

When my bed isn't messy(recently its always messy) I sleep in a variation of free faller which is I think it was called a crocodile yoga pose, the one where you have legs spread a bit and arms folded, its to promote deep belly breathing which is healthy.

I often wake up dehydrated because of covering myself too much with the blanket, not drinking enough water during the day or sleeping with my mouth open.

I don't want to snore as its a sign of potential sleep apnea which my fam gets, but it occurs more often int he overweight and I'm skinny and they are overweight.

I don't think I snore though, but with my mouth open theres a chance of it of course.

Whenever I get a nightmare or other psychological phenomenon interrupting my sleep I end up going online for an hour or so before going back to sleep.

I Sleep 7 to 11 hours roughly.

tmi v

bad habit of morning clopping though even if I wake up a couple hours early than full rest

When I sleep its full dark, and I even go to the bathroom in the full dark if I wake up and need to pee. Well almost full dark, mom has a permanent very small soft nightlight thing in the outlets.

Usually asleep somewhere on my floor ( it's better than a bed in my opinion) laid out in soldier position. The timing is impossible to predict, since my best friends live on the other side of the globe, and if I want to talk to them I need to be up at 3am. Usually I'll pass out about 12-2am though, thanks to college.
