Unfortunately due to a severe accident causing my only way to work to close I had to call out. Which due to all the other issues going on at my job was literally the LAST thing that needed to happen.

So I’ve not done much of anything

Playing Star Wars:  Battlefront II (2017) like crazy.  Despite slow online connection:glimmer: and its flaws that limit:angry: game actions, I played the missions that are vital to unlocking and upgrading cards:scoots:

Work for half a day, doctor's appointment, pharmacy after said appointment (twice, half an hour each time, whole system went down and made it a whole ordeal), got my tags renewed on my car, and did grocery shopping.

  1. Cut some wood planking and applied Creocote, leaving to dry; later I'm going to use it to make a a kind of shield or enclosure where there's an old chimney breast, to close a gap in the facia and soffit where mice are sometimes getting into the attic.
  2. Did a bit of groceries shopping.
  3. Browsed forums, checked for emails.
  4. Trimmed a few branches from a hedge.
  5. Watched a bit of YouTube while eating lunch.
  6. Test removed and replaced the spare wheel from the car, I've never done this before, despite that I've had it for 8 years! It's a bit weird, the wheel is suspended under the boot (trunk) floor so is outside of the body shell. It should probably have a new tyre which is probably as old as the car is (11 years). Anyway I now know how to get it off.
  7. Started packing for a trip I'm going to do up to Blackburn, Lancashire, for a couple of days.
  8. Not necessarily in this order.
  9. There is no 9.

:D

Slept in, got angry at my computer, helped my grandma with a few things and worked on a artwork for a couple of hours.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I just spent 4 hours trying to understand how an AND gate works. I pretty much figured it out within 20 minutes, but then I spent hours trying to find the purpose of a particular resistor in a particular schematic and I just figured it out now. It's a pull-down resistor. Duh. :yeahno:

Welcome to my world!

If you have any questions about AND, OR, XOR, NOR, NAND, anything! Drop me a message! :rarity:

If you want to understand the digital logic, what to use those for, I have a blog with binary math. But that is more computer related than electronics.

Those pesky pull-down resistors get you every time. :D
