I know there are plenty of bronies who first started watching MLP through streaming such as youtube or netflix, I'm just wondering if you watched the show all at once or if you take your time watching. And as a follow-up question,  do you do the same thing when ever you're streaming another show?

For me, I started watching the show since the early episodes of season 2, and I binge watched whenever I wanted to but also knew when I needed to take a break. How I watched a show depends on the show itself and if I have any free time to watch.

I personally like to watch episode as soon as I can.  I constantly go on MLP related things and I don't want any spoilers of the episodes.  I normally don't check any MLP site until I've seen the newest episode.

Binge watched since becoming a pegasister until I caught up, now usually just when a new episode airs but ocassionally I still do go for MLP marathons.

I originally binged the episodes on Netflix...and then immediately binged it again from the start. Season 5 was my first live season so watched it an episode at a time, which was actually a bit off putting if you got a couple of episodes you didn't like in a row. I continue to watch the show week to week but think it is better suited to a binge since it's an easily digestible show and that way 1 or 2 bum episodes in a row doesn't do much harm. Still waiting on UK Netflix to get season 5 up so I can binge that (and all the other seasons again obviously) and see whether it was as really poor as I remember it at the time.

I can't binge it because I'm done with all the episodes. The only time I watch an episode is when a new one comes out, but I think that's boring. Maybe I can rewatch a couple of episodes or watch other shows.

That's exactly how it went for me.

I don't stream. I don't have cable, satellite, Netflix, Hulu, or anything else. I have a DVD player. And when that fails me, YouTube.

With that, I STILL haven't completed the series up to season 6. I've gotten as far as season 2 on DVD, and many other random episodes on YouTube. Now, I only watch the new episodes as they release. I don't know about "savoring" it, since I don't go back to watch them again.

As much as I would love to binge, I am currently homeless, and finding a job is priority one.

Before I joined this year, I binge watched it endlessly until I'm caught up at the end of Season 5. Taking some time to reflect and to absorb the new episodes of Season 6 each week gives me a better experience rather than to watch it all at once.

For me, I guess it depends. I have a hard time watching TV a lot, usually, if it's all I'm doing. I'm much more of an internet user than a TV watcher. I saw the first episode on iTunes for free in 2011, since at that time the official MLP site had the first episode (though not part 2) as a free download. I liked it, later on watched a few eps on YouTube here and there, but my love for the show exploded when I first got The Hub. I set the series to record on the DVR and watched every episode that recorded, even if it was one I already saw, and then deleted it. This way I saw all the episodes that had aired so far.

Then season one popped up on Netflix, and I actually got a Netflix subscription because of that. I also later on bought the season box set DVD's. Yes, I watch every episode, usually the same day it airs on Discovery Family. I rewatch every episode. For a long time I cycled through all the eps in order while also catching new ones, and after I finished the series I'd start over from ep 1. Now I'm watching them out of order, but making sure to write down each one I watch so I know I'm seeing the whole series.

Sometimes I go long stretches without watching any eps (except for when there's new ones), other times I get all into it and watch episodes a lot. Really, it depends on what I feel like at the time. Sometimes I put on an ep in the background (though I don't count these for my full series rewatch) while I do something else, like train Pokémon on my 3DS.

I recently binged watched all of season 1-5 so I won't be binge watching it for a while. but I do re-watch episodes on occasion.

You have your whole life left, so much to do, so much time to do it.

Use it wisely; Because you will never get a second chance.

I binged it when I first started watching it in the winter of 2011-2012, but my interest in the show has waned over time and I try to fill my time with other activities. Right now, I only watch the new episodes while very rarely going back to an older one. The show just doesn't hold a lot of rewatch value for me, especially not against something like early SpongeBob.

Well when I was first getting into the show, I ended up binge watching it all the way up to A Friend in Deed which was the latest episode released at the time.

After that I saw every episode the day it was aired on youtube, until season 4 when I finally get the Hub/Discovery Family and ever sense then I have watched the episodes on TV at the designated time slot as it premiered.

I binge watch anything pony-related as soon as I can. I've made the mistake of taking my time my first days as a brony, because SPOILERS GALORE  ^_^

It's been 4 years I watch just one MLP episode per week. (on saturday nights, to be more precise) No less, no more. I especially like when I keep the suspense between two-parts episodes. ^^

I'm the kind to savour anything I like for the longest time possible.

I binge watched season 1 until I was caught up with it, after that I watched the new episodes as soon as I could, on TV if possible. Now, when I rewatch the show I prefer to watch at most 2-3 episodes a time.

I do the same with other shows when I watch them.

Twilight is best pony.

Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?

My entire existence here is due to binge watching the entire series over the course of 3 or 4 months last year. So yeah....I would totally do a marathon binge in the future for past episodes, but I love the break and traditional one episode at a week, and I even love the summer hiatus breakup.

I binged the first three seasons in about a week when I joined in the 2013 hiatus. But I came to adopt the philosophy that since this is my favourite series, I will savour every episode by not re-watching it too many times so I can still be surprised. For instance, I have yet to rewatch Season 5 but I plans to do so in the near future.

I'm not much of a binge-watcher. It took me all summer last year to get caught up with the series, actually.

I do enjoy to watch a few episodes at a time, though, if that counts. But, I mostly just savor each episode individually.
