I'm rather impressed with Hasbro's knowledge and recurring inclusion of famous mythical creatures. It really shows that they can really make this show interesting with as many elements (no pun intended) and references as possible.

I've been fairly happy with the mythological creatures introduced thus far, but I wouldn't mind seeing harpies, satyrs, things along those lines, as well as perhaps some other monsters out of the D&D Monster Manual. Hasbro does own Wizards of the Coast, after all, so there's no reason we can't see some of the less horrifying things wandering around. We don't exactly need demons or beholders, but what about some form of spirits or fey folk? Maybe a leprechaun, or, as Batbrony suggests, a sphinx.

 

Beyond that, I'd like to see some more details about the life cycles of those creatures already seen and introduced. More information about dragons would certainly be nice, since we've had a couple missed opportunities, and maybe some more exploration into the life of the EverFree Forest. What all lives in there besides what we've seen?

Its definitely something that can be explored and I think Hasbro know that but they don't want to introduce too many characters at once as this is something that has been used over both seasons and can continued to be used for quite some time. They don't want to overuse it and make people bored of it.

I really want to know more about dragons besides what we've already seen, Kyronea. Even though Spike is a dragon, we still only know odds and ends about them. Admittedly the dragons are depicted as something between wildlife and an actual talking race with the exception of the ever-so-intellectual Spike xD. One of the things I love to see in a show is use of previous material. What I mean is that I would love to see previous creatures show up again in greater detail, such as the Ursas. Like you said, the life cycle. ^^

I've always wondered how cartoonish an Ogre, an Orc or a Cyclops would look in MLP...

I know that phoenix's have already been featured, but I would like to see more of them. I want to know what lore they have behind them in the MLP universe. Other than that I would also like to see pixies or fairies of some sort, maybe a reference to Zelda, that would be neat.

I sorta want to see more Griffins I mean we've met Gilda who was...um...not nice...that french chef type griffin who was okay...but i think it would be sorta cool if the brought in a griffin that was the complete opposite of Gilda and then reveal that they were related...that'd be cool

I wanna see some underground creatures. Not like those dogs from S01E19, I mean actual wild creatures. Giant spiders, bats, even generic rock monsters would do.

Also I would love to see FiM's image of a siren.

I think Zoop should be put into season three. He is the strangest and craziest mythological creature I've ever seen, personally.

 

 

I would like to see that Cerberus from "It's About Time" (which Fluttershy manage to easily tame), but I fear that's taking it too far as Tartarus would have to be inevitably brought up sometime soon. Who knows though, maybe they have a "Tartarus uprising" in the works for the season three finale!

Gosh, they've already covered so many... Centaurs would just be creepy, and I don't know of any others that they haven't covered.

I would like to see more creatures from the Everfree. Or maybe some more sentient creatures? Hell, i WANT TO SEE ALL TEH CREATURES. lol.

You guys pretty much named all the ones i can think of at the moment. Except chimeras. All the other myth creatures i can think of are all humanoids. Don't know if we wnat more of them. Minataurs are ok cuz the top half is bull. Don't knwo what would happen if they were to imput a centaur or something like that. We would see the top half of a human. Who knows what chaos would occur from that...

Perhaps they can combine ponies with other animals. Like a medusa esque creature but pony+snake like some kidn of naga pony maybe? a merpony would be a sea-pony really, don't know what the fans can do with that heheh. What else is there? pony+goat? like that human+goat creature. Forgot its name. ...Nah that won't look good. hmmm... yeah thats all i got heheh. Someone said sirens? Sirens are basically like evil mermaids really. So it would be like seaponys that sing haha.

The Kracken! (or however its spelled.) U know, that giant squid-octopus monster thingie that attacks ships. Oooh they should show that! The Mane six can go on a boating adventure! Pinkie can be a pirate haha.
